Now that I have reclaimed some honor, I can post.

Ken: The ss DLO brought me much pain, today. I wish you had a vagina tattoo I could make fun of. Thank you for pushing me. Curse your records.

Nick: They some good posts. Too bad BAP may not even be in my future.

Still been playing a lot, and running. Spent the weekend in Tahoe with Stanford Crew and some homies. It was Brian's b-day weekend, and good times were had. My legs felt like concrete when we played, though. Poop. I like getting drunk with Dustin. Still haven't been able to make a Stanford Shred since before East Coasts, hopefully that'll change, since the car scenario is somewhat worked out. I have opted out of having a social life, or at least, a frivolous one, so that I can attend NYJ. Should be golden, I believe. Got a highlight last week, that was pretty game changing for me. 8 contacts, 24 dexes. Haven't told many peeps, but: Smog >ss Smog repeat >Pig >ss Pig repeat . Yes, in that order. Anywho, this is some more stuff from today.

Sailing is new, and BSOS is very new. I like, but not sure if it's good, or not.

Should've used Sell Your Soul by Hollywood Undead for a song. 8)

But seriously, 8 3DEXes is insane, especially since you're not using any half-ass dexes like DOD.

Your Sailing looks good, and absolutely perfect if all you want are Pixie Taps. For Sailing Barrage, Sailing Eggbeater, Sailing DLO etc., your Atomic needs to be uptime, not midtime, though. Soon, you'll see some 4 DEX stuff.

By the way, since you're experimenting with new sets, I'd encourage you to try all of the 2DEX and weird sets. These sets are easier for some people, so if you're lucky, you might find yourself a very unique component. I'll even give you a list.

Barraging (Furious), Sailing, Shooting, Frantic, Terraging, Bubba and Quasi (that set is abandoned since Olaf doesn't play). There's other weirder ones, like Fairy Atomic and Phasing, but I think you have a good foundation for those listed.

Good music selection!! I use YouTube to edit, so I can't use any proper tunes. Which is why I made this, and not gonna do a special.

:D Thing that blew my mind was all unique, though, this is something I can't just do.

Oh, 4 dexes <3 This was the advice I was looking for, thanks! When trying not to BSOS, I can sometimes set high enough for a sloppy duck, just need to replicate under pressure. I'll give 'em a go, but can't make any promises, especially not the Clipper stuff. I tried Fairy Atomic, but that is just super weird and hard. Dang Quantums need to come along, too. I appreciate the list, good luck with shreddin' in Laves.

Kevin: Noice, that's always reassuring. Man, thank ya. Means a lot, hoping for some more shenanigans with ya. I should be getting those tomatoes in on Thursday

May get a little blah, blah, blah. Life NEVER sucks, but people can. Always feel so tight with peeps, and then I get burned in the end. Most of my close friends have been dropping like flies, due to death or shadyness. Tend to open up to the wrong peeps, and not open up enough to the good ones. Opening up can also be rough, definitely go overboard with it, but it doesn't happen much, so it's hard not to. Humans lacking the "Y" chromosome have also decided to wage psychological warfare on me. Side-side piece for life, it seems. Which has slumped me to my old ways, and my parents have noticed, and I'm deeply sorry for that. Started coaching a kids soccer team for a wee bit. Kids are assholes, but so awesome. Tried sneaking in some footbag for a while, but they really just want the kids to run around.

Apologies, back to the bag. Don't wanna get ahead of myself, but I feel like Clippers are coming together. I know I have stated this many times, but this does feel REAL. Been consistent on hitting at least 25 or more op Clips(Ripwalk style) per session. Haven't been able to push past the 32 contacts, but I still have time to beat it this week. 28 is the number I keep getting to. Infinity style Clippers are on the verge of being easier, but 24 has been the number to beat for a while. Infinities themselves are dirty little trollops, but making sure the spine is straight has made life slighty better (Polini!). Yet to beat my 10 contacts of that, though. I DID smash on my Ducking op Clipper record, which is now at 10. BOO-yah. But, yeah, I'd say I can Clipper, not with the best of 'em, but they can be seen in strings. In the realm of toes, though, things have been great. Almost broke the Double Orbit record on my flipside, and did on my strong (Not on video). Them Double Orbits are feeling groovy, which has helped DOD, but, most of all, Double Switch Over (Which I only remembered after reading Cassy's blog)! Finally BSOS-ed it, but not B2B, yet. Pixie's are bangin', like big time. Atomics are also coming along, hit Atomic Legover *3 BSOS (Once). HUGE fan of Sailing right now. Everytime I try and work on just Atomics, I find myself every now and then unconsciously sneaking that Pixie in there. Hit Sailing Legover, but only on one side. Fingers crossed for a Stanford shred this weekend. SO ready for NYJ.

No More Poop

Staaanford! It had been too long. Missed the Squares, pizza, and non-sense talks. Some pups decided to make an appearance, too. Everyone seemed to be playing up to par fairly well, lots of toes! Finally got to show some peeps Sailing, which went superb-ish. It's weird cause my strong Sailing is my weak Pixie and Atomic. They pups needed tending to, so me and Alex powered through some two man for a wee bit. Was able to hit Smog >Atom Smasher repeat. At one point, towards the end of the shred, I was trying for Pixie DSO, and Brian kept telling me, "Pixie Quantum". After the 2nd or 3rd time, I decided to humor him, and on my 3rd attempt, I cleared it. I was so blown away I just watched it go up, said, "What the FUCK", and watched it hit the ground. Pixie Quantum is a lil' risky, so I couldn't push for many more tries. Brian and I agreed that I could of easily done another dex, the set was so good. Very odd, cause when I tried Quantums, it was no where near as close as Pixie Quantum. Good sesh, with lots of Clippers. The pizza was just phenominal, like, oh my. Gotta get back on rolling out consistently, cause it's the bomb.

Highlights:
-Pixie Quantum set drop
-Pixie DSO (One Side, NEW)
-Smog >Atom Smasher repeat
-DSO >Double Orbit repeat

Also, some highlights from a previous session:
-40 op Clippers!!!
-Pixie Gold, twice
-Atomic Leg >Tap >Atomic Leg >Tap BS
-Omlette on Both Sides!
-String with DSO*11 (6 weak, 5 strong)

Starting to have a hard time figuring out which side is Flip, at times, and depending on the trick.

Pixie Quantum is called Frantic, and I'm fairly confident you're able to hit butterfly/mirage from it.

Have you tried Pixie DSO on flipside? For me it's one of those tricks that has no flipside, just equally hard on both sides.

Sick highlights, congratulations on the pixie gold. Try other badges as well. The more we submit, the faster we'll have another set of them. At least that was the official statement. :)

Ahhh, I figured it was something from your list. My footbag IQ isn't the greatest, for shame. I actually just got flip Pixie DSO today, and I'd agree completely, equally a pain in the ass. Even though it should be so simple, cause DSO is flowy. Thank ya, thank ya. Only a fan of the golds, and that's the only one I can get :P

Standing 69

I want to go to Canada. Working with kids is chill, sucks it's already coming to an end. Finally finished up the bags for Alex, which I hope he digs, seeing as he was hoping for some Bear bags, but Brian is swamped. Played with a buddy yesterday, and he was rippin' it up. Mirage and Orbit all day. Pretty confident in my Clipper (maybe even toe Butter), and I'm hoping my toes are about to explode.

Highlights:
-DSO*4
-flip Pixie DSO!
-Pixie Gold
-string with P. Mirage*20 >P. Illusion*20
-Dimwalk BSOS

Saw that shout out ;) Thanks for that. Glad my tips help. I should be filming more of those sooner than later.

Your game and my game are so different. I love it. You really inspire me to get better at toes. Pixie DSO bs is the shit. So goofy to see Pixie DSO bs then see Dimwalk BSOS lol Clippers are tough at first, but you can get them going. Instead of practicing Clippers with tricks like Dimwalk and Butterfly, here is a nice short cut... Hit a few Clipper goals first... Set some milestones.

1) 100 alternating Inside Kicks
2) 100 Inside stalls b2b
3) 10 Clippers b2b & same side both sides
4) 50 Clippers b2b & same side both sides
5) 100 Clippers b2b & same side both sides

You really want to tackle these from 1 to 5, in that order. Maybe you can some already, I don't know your fundamentals that well. But basically, if you can't do #2, for example, then you shouldn't be attempting #3 yet. Once you've completed all of these, your game will EXPLODE from all directions. Mark my words.

Are you up for the challenge?

Nick: My game is usually pretty different from others, unless your Vojta. That's good :D I hope you somewhat stick with it. I just tried 'em on a whim, and it was easier than I thought. I practice Clipper to get better at Clipper. My fundamentals are pretty darn good. Pushing for the 50, though. Same side is going to be the death of me.

Cass: Sweeeeet. It's looking promising, and I know it would be more than worth it, but we'll see.

Vojta: Just Clipper between them, sadly. If it was Butters, I would be Poseidon.

Swanky Deuce

Played today and yesterday. Working on some fatty strings. Today, I got down with some dude in Sac, Loren, while my mom was at the Dr.'s. He had gotten real good since the last time I shredded with him. He busted some Eggs, had a fair attempt at Grifter, DATW and Double Orbit on both sides, and a whole lot of other stuff. Major ADD hunter, though, no matter what I say. Not many strings.

Yesterday:
-Pixie Gold (First try)
-Smog >ss Smog repeat (First try)
-DSO >DSO
-flip Sailing Legover!
-cool Guiltless Atomic links
-strings

Today:
-Pixie Gold >string (First try)
-DSO >Double Orbit repeat
-juicin' Butters
-P. Egg *3 BSOS
-P. Mirage *2 BSOS >P. Egg *2 BSOS
-FATTY strings with variety, and damn

Feelin' it, and excited for the holidays

Super Smash Bros Melee

I have been sick for almost a week now, nose is all clogged up. Makes it very hard to breathe during shred. Pushing to film, but haven't produced much. Body can't hang with the Triples right now :? Fingers crossed to be better for a Stanford visit. Boston-ish Jam looked rad.

Sloppy, but it happened. First try, which makes 5 times in a row.

Always save the best for last ;)
It's called Break(AOTL) by Childish Gambino

Genuis By Day, Junkie By Night

Pushing for film ended up just making me more sickly, but, oh well. Finally feeling better, and made a Stanford visit. I suck at Squares. Played surprisingly well for not playing for 12 days. Like, WELL. Dave happened to roll, which was a noice and unexpected, for me. I somehow always end up going after Dave, always. Err'body was shreddin' hard. Alex was laying down some bonkers-ness, and Brian was in the zen with some madening flow. Steve claimed he wasn't feeling well, but I think he was just being too nice and didn't wanna make it a 5 man circle. GOOD pizza, regardless what Steve says. Super sore, but it's a very good thing haven't been sore in what feels like ages.

After seeing the first day's video, I'm pretty dissapointed of what I put up. Mainly cause I know its just some average, and slightly above average play. First time getting a chance at the Joulu, and I poop on it. 30 days till NYJ, boo-yah.

Well, BAP videos are cool, but I enjoy videos by people who are only a couple of years ahead of me much more. Shows me where I might be one day, as opposed to where I'll probably never be. I have a feeling that Joulukalenteri was never about hardcore shred anyway, it's simply a collection of active shredders' videos.

No one's ever going to complain about a video anyway. That's like complaining about a free pizza.

True, true, true. Meant more that what I got on film was more average and slightly above average play for myself. Don't really feel like I pushed myself too much, I think I only hit two Triple dexes in the whole thing. Just wanted to put out something really good, for myself, seeing as people may actually peep it

Also, just give it time. You are shredtastic, and any level is achievable.

I really enjoyed your new Kalenteri video. Jealous of your Ducking and Atomics. Whenever I do these, people are afraid I've just had a stroke. :D

I swear we should call it Ducking when someone does them wrong and Swanning when they're like yours.

Try some Set > Butterfly tricks, like Dimwalk, Legbeater, Tripwalk etc. Once you learn Stepping, you'll use them as a transition.
