Hey Pete, thanks for the offer! We can definitely use some Bowler ruckus, so that alone will go a long way. I'll keep you in mind for transportation needs, but I'm also thinking about items to make folks comfortable. We have two spare beds, two air mattresses, and a lot of open floor space....if you have any sleeping pads or air mattresses to supplement the open space it would go a long way. Kevin also said you have a dope ass loud speaker so that would be useful too.
Mathieu, we look forward to seeing you on the 14th! When you know what time you will arrive, let me know and we can plan a shred session.

Just a few more days until people start trickling in!
We've had a lot of activity about the jam on Facebook, but I haven't done as good a job keeping this thread updated.
We have a dope ass lineup of around 20 people coming to shred it up. You, whoever you are reading this, should come too!

If you didn't see already, we are also going to make this a PRIZE SALSA EVENT. Who needs prize money when you have prize salsa?
Backstory and photo:
BSC is proud to announce that the 2014 Shoetown Throwdown is a PRIZE SALSA EVENT!!!!
While our main focus on an informal shred-a-licous good time, we also thought it would be nice to have a friendly request contest.
Props to Kevin Hogan on the label design!!! The salsa was just prepared from a crop of volunteer tomatillos that grew in my yard this year. Fairly mild as far as salsa goes, but this batch is still very tangy and zesty. The antique porcelain miniature shoes are French Feve Figurines that are good luck charms designed to be baked inside of cakes and are a tribute to Haverhill’s storied past as a world leader in the shoe industry and the “Queen Shoe City of the World”.

If you are on the fence, get on out here you jive Turkey!

I see that I am listed on the attendee list and unfortunately that is untrue, I don't mean to call you a liar but my plans have changed once again and I can't make it. I wish I could be there cause it's gonna be a super blast and I am sad that I am missing it. Pore out a little salsa for your me your fallen "blaze ya dead" homie. If you guys didn't know it's Ben Little's B-day on Sunday so make sure you guys give him b-day punches and sing him my favorite song in the world. Have fun

Drew! We were teased with your presence, but now it is being taken away!!!! Bummed you can't make it. We'll try to get pictures and videos and stuff, and we'll try and make sure Ben has a good birthday.

Thanks for to everyone who came out and made this a great event! I think if the results are based on having fun that everyone came out as winners.
We ended up having a traditional link request contest for the salsa prizes and a both sides contest where the goal is to hit a particular move on both sides within 4 tries.
Link Request Contest:
1) Jim Penske
2) Kevin Crowley
3) Matt Kemmer
