yesterday I almost did more damage, while working on eclipse I almost stepped on my weak ankle,

Usually I would have left me strong foot fall on it and let my body fall to the ground instantly without getting hurt, but I was so scared I transferred all my weight on my strong foot and moved it a bit on the side. Result: almost twisted my strong foot as well.. but no arm after a few minutes the pain was gone, phew!

4 days to go before the rest :)

day 410 today

ankle is healing, but still can't do much, for example a spin where the support leg is damaged foot = dont do this or I get hurt badly

I did manage 2 big highlights

ripstein for the second time, super nice one

symp whirling swirl, I think I get the feeling now

some nice swirls while doing magic hop

2 more days and a break is called upon me!

tomorrow will be my last session, if my foot is not too bad hopefully I'll get a couple of tricks on camera to close this

I would love to hit a symp whirl swirl and a ripstein .. but it all depends on if my ankle can support some clippers or not..

well today was my last day in my every day shred streak

ends at 409

http://youtu.be/wTf3gsuYQLg

got a bad ripstein and ended with a vortex... I'm at the point where I cannot plan my sprained ankle, so I can't string, can't do many tricks... even setting a clipper hurts me with strong foot on ground, oh well need rest now

You should be very proud of this accomplishment. We don't know each other well so maybe it won't mean much, but I am proud of you and I suspect others are as well.

I am one of the others. I've only been watching for the last few months but they have been awesome to see. Congrats on making the full calender year. Hope the ankle heals up well and soon.

Yesterday i was ending my streak.

But at 9:45pm. I felt empty. Something was missing. I did all my situps and pushups to replace my shred but it felt like dry bread next to chocolate..

So i laced my shoes and played. Mostly tiltless and one sided to prevent getting hurt but clipper far legover rpt never felt so good

still taking it easy, yesterday I got my first painless spinning clippers from left side, I only did two of them, don't want to push my luck

did some clipper-clipper for a while without getting hurt as well

doing more sit-ups and pushups since I cannot do real shred as side exercice, feels good!

got a couple of 30-40 mins sessions in a row the last days, still not top notch but playing for real feels good

very hard to pass 20 contacts, but still manageable, one week or two and I should be back where I was

today I got my first flip furious set, got a crispy flurry, I have now hit a furious trick both sides, not really something I want to work on, but still a fun highlight

got close to far rev swirl-ripstein, but god to I suck at ripstein...

426 days in a row now

today i played for 80 minutes, longest session since... a very long time

mostly drilling flip blur, I hate that trick so much, I hit some good ones but WAY too much energy wasted on that trick

With my last ankle injury, flip symposium tricks are officially out of my repertoire, I'm keeping symple tricks since they dont plant with jumping foot

I still have some little weakness and that stresses me sometimes and I have a bit of hesitation on tricks. It's a bit annoying but I have to take it easy I guess.

I'm messing around trying to find a new routine song for worlds, I'd like to build something new, and I have some songs I'm thinking of

only 30 mins today, my daughter didn't want to sleep for a nap I had to stop..

I'm starting to go back over 15-20 contacts but I need more bails then I used to, still managed some good strings, one with 50 contacts with a flip vortex after 40ish contacts, just need to keep going at my pace before I stop this fear of my left ankle, I don't feel pain but I still think it's weak for some reason..

I also did another activity today that I was fearing for the last month, snowskate! The last time I tried going down the hill I just let myself fall in fear of hurting my ankle. Today I gave it a few shots, had fun and no damage ! A little 10 years old girl loved it and wanted to try, and she actually got the hang of it first try, I was very surprised until she told me she does skateboard too.. Why doesn't this happens with footbag..

ankle came back pretty good and got hurt again
I realized the insole in my g-units was in bad shape, changed it tonight and I already see a difference, but I came back behind in my recovery to mostly do basic tricks, and mostly one sided so I don't hurt my ankle.

something I've always been bad at, flip atw o-i .. I now have hit 20 in a row instead of struggling to hit 3

also datw o-i to datw i-o on flip, and from io to oi as well

I do other stuff to keep my mind happy, some juggling, doing claw throws I managed 30 catches with 3 balls, something that I also feel proud of :D

My ankle is really annoying me, takes too long to heal, taking appointment with the doctor probably monday.

Today I did some atws to keep working on flip o-i atw. managed a toe stall run with datw i-o and o-i bsos twice in same run
another 20ish atw o-i flip side, getting better and better

shred wise my motivation is very low considering it's close to one month I can't really do real shred, beside the couple of days I jumped back too early.

I just hope I can heal before penn state jamps

Me too, man. I know what you mean. I have a sort of nagging knee injury from around Xmas. It comes and goes. Really hope your ankle recovers fully. Taking time off of footbag isn't the worst thing ever. Here's to the doctor giving you some good news about the ankle. Fingers crossed.

11 days without a real footbag sess

and my ankle as been in the same state in the past 6-7 days or so, feels sort of healed, but some muscles just can't take footbag. I try to do some exercices to stretch but I feel it doesn't improve..

must persist. last night I did some basic kicks, clippers, legovers, didn't feel any pain but I feel that some parts of the ankle are very weak and could break again, I'll take more time off and keep doing small exercices :/

Ankle feels iffy, I had a little session today, I did not feel any extra pain while playing, but it doesn't feel right.

Even tough I had no shred in weeks, I managed some good runs while keeping the average intensity low (with titless as filler)

But I'm still aiming at a doctor appointment friday since it's not clearing away
