Good observation. Half the time in footbag, if you can't get the desired result by focusing on one leg, it usually means that the other leg needs to be doing something important.
Funny moment at pre New Years Jam breakfast. Vinces Girl Bea, was asking about Ott Boggly, and who he is and if he was coming to NYJ. I told her I didnt want him to show his face around me because I'm kinda ticked off at him. I then showed her his Facebook page. Response was an INSTANT CLASSIC. " EWWWWWW! He looks CREEEEEEEPY!"
brotha... i can't tell you how excited i am that we had the chance to hang out all weekend. it was so great to finally meet you. you have been my online footbag mentor and friend but i had no idea how much we have in common! i'm pretty sure if we lived in the same city, we would be the best of friends. it was awesome to finally shred with you. i can't wait to do it again!

Last time I posted, Brotha Price and I had only just met for perhaps the one and only time... But now, I'm moving to his state. North Carolina, Asheville to be exact. There is an actual HACKY SACK group that meets/met there so perhaps big ol me can kindle an actual footbag community there if there isn't one already. I'm pretty sure Aaron and I will get together again and he can teach me how to fridgidosis like a statue that needs to have the footbag chiseled off the foot to get it to actually be set again.
I haven't done a ton of footbag, but what I have done I'm pretty excited about. for example:
There was NO WAY I was going to even be anywhere near close to drifter>swirl since it took me ALLLL DAYYYY to get it on one side. However, I had a micro sesh one day and decided to see if i could hit drifter... and I did, and I think i automatically went to swirl just because thats all i ever do now. And then I tried flipside and got it like nothing. BS, BS BS BS BS BS wow. when did I get that good? (not that its actually good, but it was for sure good for me)
I've gotten pretty darn good at rev swirls and blink too.

I'm working on that concept of the month video series. I filmed 27 or 28 links today with this concept. I plan on doing a heck of alot more. here is a preivew of what was done today.
Great links, dude. I'm definitely digging the concept of the month. I tried it before, too. It helped I think. I used to do 2 concepts. 1 uptime, and 1 downtime. Then, by the end of the month, I would try to be kinda ok at that whole trick.. So, if I chose Gyro as my uptime, and Drifter as my downtime, by the end of the month, I would try to get kinda decent at Vortex.
I'm bout to sesh it up and I think I can sense it's.gonna be a good one. I've been focusing on flip basics and it's already helped me bail to flip bops. I almost feel like I could hit scorps today. We shall see shant we?
I was going to Bones, because I was having a great sesh. (At a public park where there were lots of little kids, including my own) I heard some lady say "I don't like it that that guy is recording all these children, he's got his camera on all these kids!" And I wasn't going to let it bother me that they wouldn't talk to me about their concern but rather just blah blah behind my back intentionally loud enough for me to hear. Then I let it bother me. So I couldn't focus properly because I was irritated. I got a few good things on video before that, so it wasn't a total loss, plus, I hit toe ss rev swirl twice and since I have, I think toe ss blink will be easier and toe ss revup will be attainable for sure. Don't get me wrong, it's a valid concern that someone was uncomfortable about a camera "on all the kids". I get that. But it was ME, on camera, obviously, plus my very own wife and four children were in the shot as well. If they would have questioned me about it, I would have shown them, I'm recording myself, I'm not interested on the kids way in the background, I'm interested in what I hit on video for freestyle footbag. Goodness gracious.
Dude, I know how you feel. I used to fly quadcopters and hexacopters with a camera on them (now commonly referred to as "drones" by our media and lawmakers). People bitched at me every now and then, even though I was in a public space and had every right to take video. Still, I would pack up my stuff and go fly a couple hundred feet away to honor their request. I guess it is because you are doing a strange activity that people feel uncomfortable and start getting overprotective. I look forward to seeing more of your videos - have you hit barfly b2b yet?

Let me tell ya. I've never even hit paradon on flip. Everytime I try to hit it, and I'm positive I did, I review the footage... it's just a butterfly. I'm not sure how I'm going to resolve that. And! I've never hit barfly on strong. I've almost hit blurriest though. Craziness.
