Thanks Ben. For others who may not have caught the reference, the cake in the first post is an homage to the Spanish woman who ruined an ancient portrait of Jesus when she botched the restoration in a church. Here's the original image, the deteriorated image, and her "restored" image:

This is the cake I made for Ben's birthday two years ago (we recently started going out at this time): The main part of the cake is dark chocolate with vanilla frosting; the others are an assortment of white cupcakes, regular sized and mini sized with variations of colored frostings (food dye with vanilla frosting).




This is the cake I made for him this past year: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake



The pineapple upside down cake was homemade. The first cake was partially homemade. The dark chocolate portion was homemade, while the cupcakes were boxed (so I could get the color dye )

Yesterday at work I had a homemade bailey's stout cupcake with bailey's buttercream frosting. It was delicious, but it had been out too long and I got minor food poisoning from the frosting. Be careful eating homemade frosting when its been outside too long.
