Re: Mathieu
Great to see you guys. Super fun day even though I was really sick. Glad you liked the chimneys! Worth the 2000 calories hahaha
Re: Mathieu
Been working on my routine mostly the last days, I need to hit it dropless at least once per session, and this is always achieved!
Sess's are short like 30 mins during lunch at work, so quick warmup, routines back to back, then go back to work
Today I had 2 dropless, ended with one of them and realised I stretched lunch by 5 minutes haha
Looking forward for east coasts this weekend, but I'm kind of worried not many will attend, we shall see

Looking forward to see a vid of your routine. I hope you incorporated that dance you did when you hit that vortex > p drifter > drifter combo!

Re: Mathieu
east coasts was fun!
even tough low attendance, it was a pleasure to spend time with everyone there
Got to pick up Matt Kemmer on the way, lots of footbag talks, we kept missing our exits since we where just chatting so much, really enjoyed it!
I played pretty well on saturday , but circle started about 5 hours after playing and I felt like I performed really badly. Good enough to make finals, but there too I felt embarassed by my turns, except one run in variety where I made up for 2 runs of mediocrity, like 60+ contacts with a toe in there to keep it going around 40. Somehow I managed to be 2nd, but I felt I should have been 3rd or 4th, Boatz killed it, seriously... But maybe since he bails on toes a lot that hurt is score? He was just so dense for my taste, very fun to play with him.
In routines I felt very bad at the first 8 tricks, I had to change everything because all the tricks where feeling like I would drop them, I was able to regain confidence and change one bedwetter to a blizzard to stay on focus, fucked up one part at the end, the rest was not too bad, I mean 1 drop after all that happened in the hour preceding routines is something to be happy about I believe! The parc guard wanted to kick us out of our spot, it was bad, but everyone handled that professionally and it all worked out for the best. Just took too much of my concentration but I am still learning I think.
Shredwise I can't remember all the stuff I hit, but out of the top of my head I got vortex-vertigo again, regulated boatz on a What first try, maybe 2nd time I hit the trick? far rev symple swirl- far rev symple swirl- ps whirl to end the tournament, many long and good runs, I got so many props I could not count them. oh and far rev symple swirl - pdx drifter - rpt starting from flip instead of strong, thanks Matt Kemmer for the suggestion
This new routine I did I don't know if I will use again, but it felt good to hit a blurry whirl for the first time in a routine, would have so loved to nail that bedwetter, steps are always a nightmare for me and it's a personal victory when I do such a trick in a routine and nail it.
I can stop doing routines for a bit and concentrate more on improving some concepts now, time to choose out of many!

Re: Mathieu
How low is low when we're talking footbag? 60 contacts in comp is pretty great!
Re: Mathieu
Low is like 10 freestylers ?
today I hit blurry whirl - vertigo both sides
and bedwetter - alpine smoke!

Re: Mathieu
It was awesome hanging and shredding with you at East Coasts!!! I'm glad you and my shark Frank hit it off again. I also can't believe we played for all those hours on Saturday and then competed. I wonder how it must of been for Dan and Tony to play all that net, to then compete freestyle. Although you did not perform as well as you would have liked to in circle, any chance you are going to post the footage? It would be cool to see El Kemino throwing down his sharp style which got him the East Coast circle title.
