3D Printing and Footbag

I know a few people have done some things with 3D printers to experiment with footbag products - what are some things that have happened so far? What would you like to see in the future and what possibilities do you think that will open up? I know there have been some bag designs and some ideas for working with shoes.

I know that some stitchers have been brainstorming using 3d printers to make footbag template stamps.
And Ivan has been experimenting with using a 3d printer to make footbags, but last I heard that was still very experimental.
