Frustrating thread!
Indeed, why complicate things?
Yup, that's the way most see it. All double down moves moves can just be called blank double down. Eg Fusion is atomic double down, Kiwi is tapping double down, sooperdooperfly is spinning symp double down. etc. Even bullwhip with a plant (not gyro) would be generally accepted as spinning same double down, no? There's no confusion this way. As soon as you say atomic paradon or spinning barfly for example, questions come up as to whether it's relative to the dex, set, or whatever.Flipsider wrote:The way I see it, Scorp is Spinning Double Down, and Bullwhip is Gyro Double Down. Only SIX
Dude! Good luck beating the record, but I bet Vasek will hold it for a while - I'm pretty sure it is 16. What about consecutive bullwhips.
I would call scorpions tail spinning barfly. It seems to be that everthing in footbag is either relative to the set being a toe or a clip and being farside or same side - the actual foot that the move is set off doesn't make much difference - except of course that it desides which side is far and which is same.

Example: A move lynton has hit (on demand for the first time and never hit again I don't think) is atomic spinning pdx mirage.
Jobs:
toe>op out>spin>same in>op toe
Jobs for tap
toe>op out>same in>op toe
The only difference between this move and a tap is the spin in the middle. But they are clearly completely different moves
