Which Type?

Post by LameR »

Sure big moves are cool, but I think both-sidedness is cooler. If you can pull off six adds with your right foot, that's good and all but I would rather see both sided goodness with 4 or 5 adds than one sided 6ness. This poll would be like both sidedness with less difficulty than the one sided option. Eh, this is extremely poorly worded but hopefully you get what I mean.

i agree. it hurts my eyes to see onesidedness. in general. there are lots of one-sided players that i love to watch. like i remember ken saying once that he has never seen ahren flip blender. but you never even really notice. because hes just SO good. you know?

Do we really even need a poll here?

to be honnest, i'm a one side dominant player, my flip side is weak, but i'm working on it. i like big moves, but now i am feeling the effetcs of working big tricks strong side, my flip side can't catch up fast enough. i like to see big tricks, but i like both sidedness, big tricks both sided is awesome... but i'll settle for lower level tricks on both thanks.

Personally i like a little lopsidedness. Usually when people r both sided their strings r lacking in bigger moves becasue they r so focused on being both sided. So i like it when strong sided big moves r hit along with like both sided shuffles and both sided bails.
There is always a bigger trick.

Go watch a vid. of Dylan Fry.

I know most people like both sidedness but I was wondering if they favored it over slightly bigger tricks, that's why I made this. I'm kind of halting my progress until I get my flip clippers and butterflies down. I think that's more important than being able to do a bunch of other 3 adds with just my right foot. Yeah, big moves are fun but equal sidedness just feels dang cool.

I like to try to be bsp. It gives me more I can work with, in essence making my strings longer and look better, even though it's the same moves.

i like it when people can do things both sides.
i like them in the sense that they can be done
both sides in random parts in a run. i dont
necessarily like seeing repeating combos in
routines or runs, cause then i can pretty much
predict what is gonna happen next. i dont like
runs that i can predict, cause im not surprised.
