Yeah, I understand. You did talk about a couple things there...Panda Licker wrote:m4d_h4cker wrote:Panda, that is the most moronic thing I've ever heard in my entire life!
All labling of music is crap eh?
Well I guess all music is crap. Tell me one good thing to back that up. All of the music that is part of a genre are usually (or have similarities) alike in alot of different ways.
Your missing my point. Its not that I think the actual labeling of 'music' is bad , but rather the fact that people will actually go around calling themselves Punkers or Goths because it makes them feel cool. And the labeling of bands just adds to that. Yeah, there are some really different types of music, (i.e. Country, Rock, Rap, Classical, Techno), but saying "I listen to Punk music" is cutting yourself short because there's a lot of great music out there. So if everything was just called Rock, then it would be a lot easier for people to be exposed to new kinds of music and not just stay in one catagory.
I think I just sorta talked about 15 topics at once, and if it didn't make sense then I'm sorry
Seriously bro, do you have to argue with every post I make?
Not really my fault if I disagree with you alot of times, you don't agree with me either, or I wouldn't be disagreeing with you

Isn't "Punk" just another one of those titles that people who want to be different name themselves or their music so that they stand out from the crowd? Sorta like Goth, or Panda Licker

ok i officially dont like oi polloi anymore...friggin cross between punk and 80s speed metal. i liked em for a really long time and then like two days ago i just decided they are crap. lol
hmmm over the last week or so ive been listening to the oppressed, dead boys, funeral dress , fleas and lice , angelic upstarts, the business, and flux of pink indians .
damn panda got a few bands worth mentioning like crucifuks and dead boys, circle jerks, buzzcocks, the adolescents and of course crass...good job panda. thank you.
and by the way...punk music is just a symptom of a larger issue. we can have that discussion in a dif thread though.
