vasek or Ryan?
I guess I'll be the one dragging this debate to this forum... apparently several people are making a pretty big deal out of who should have won worlds. What do you think?

well i watched both videos. It is close. As routines go, I'd have to say Ryan's takes it because that's what it is: a routine. You can see it's been DIALED. It's a show. I personnaly prefered Vcaseks, allthough it was a little more shaky. I gues it all really depends on what kind of judging system is used. they both kick ass.
i think ryan definitely won presentation (no drops and well choreographed, etc) but vasek won for a technical basis (more unique guitless moves, as well as more difficult and riskier strings)
i guess it just depends which you weigh more heavily, but personally i think the judges made the right decision with vasek. but they probably couldnt have gone wrong either way...

I'm in agreement with rygar, good point.
I'd vote the tech aspect holds more weight than the asthetic quality. Even that is a complete toss up and a mere question of taste; whereas the points add up and the numbers speak the truth. They were both sick. I would have not wanted to be on the panal! It would be bias not to say that they were both at the top of thier game and very sealed. So props to both no questions asked.
While I'm on this topic I want to expound and bring something to light As I have noticed, competition has been very secondary to just getting together and shred with new and differnet stylers (aside from worlds respectivly). But as proved with the addition of this thred, people are beginning to become more competitive. As pointed out, the Chez. Rep. has taken footbag from a pastime to a sport. This has proven contagious. That is exactally what footbag freestyle needs to explode: competition. When something becomes competitve it takes upon and entire new meaning and with it grows leaps and bounds. Anyone in agreement?

i think ryan and vaseks first routines were equal.
vaseks semifinals routine was the best routine i ever layed eyes on, and TOTALLY beat ryan, no question about it.
but ryan's final routine was better than vaseks final routine, in my opinion.
so i think ryan should have won, but vasek should have saved his best routine for last.
