Do you honestly think that how well you go at school is a representation of how smart you are? Lots of stupid people get good results by working really hard - other really smart people don't do very well because they get bored with everything and don't do any work at all.

I've got a 3.5 something unweighted... I've heard your GPA drops something like one whole number when you get into college.. I guess it's true... wow...

Back in high school (a year ago), i got senior year 4.0 average. Junior year, i was around 3.4, Sophomore year, around 3.5, and freshman year, 3.7...so i wasn't too bad :D

I have a 3.7 weighted, 3.7 being an A-. It's senior year so I have little motivation (aka none), but I still have a 3.6 for the first semester.

2.46
but that doesn't represent how smart i am it represents what grades i've gotten. the reason my gpa is low isn't because i'm stupid and it isn't because i'm unmotivated. i'm very motivated and inteligent if you give me something interesting.as an example. i ended up teaching a lot of my freshmen math class. the teacher was fairly new to teaching and the other kids understood me better so he would get up and eplain something and then the class would look over at me. i ended up getting a d in that class because i didn't want to spend a half hour every night doing math homework for a class i could teach better than the teacher and on consepts i had learned years earlier. i try lot harder in things that i'm interested in than in classes i'd rather not go to.

edit: p.s. wow theirs a second page to this =P looks like jeremy already stated my point, well said jeremy
