lol I was thinking about saying this every time I look at the thread
blah blah blah...
the title of this thread is not 'do you like punk?' so if you have any opinions about punk that you feel the need to share, make a seperate thread for it.
didnt yer mommy tell you if you have nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all? try not to be such narrow minded ignorant clods. i understand how daunting of a task that may be but do us all a favor and think before you open yer mouths and prove to us all how much of an ass you both really are.

anyway....i think that the fuckheadbastards are going to be playing a show with the dance floor disasters sometime in the next 3 months.if you dont know either band than let me clear that up for you....the fuckheadbastards is a collaboration of my 4 friends and i and we play punk music with a super ignorant edge(in other words we make fun of people without thinking twice(perfect example is meat it just makes sence makes fun of vegans to the core))the dance floor disasters is a band from alberta on longshot records( http://www.longshotmusic.com ) our lead singer ryan's cousin plays in this band and they are quite good!....also there was supposed to be a show at our local bar this friday but our friends band cannot play due to the fact that he got barred for getting the shit kicked out of him by someone that already got barred for breaking a golf club ofer someone like 3 months beforehand! man it sucks...however i think it is possible tostill have the show if we can get our other friends band broken radio sound to play!...

i just cant for the life of me get into leftover crack. im not really a fan of skapunk. skacore, yes...skapunk, no not really. i keep trying to listen to leftover crack but it really just annoys me. a few of my punker friends think im crazy for not liking them. wtf im just not cool like them. is there some kind of connection between choking victim and leftover crack?
hey jordan you ever heard of discocks?
i listened to a little dancefloor disasters....i dig em. damn jordan...5 ppl in the band? why dont you split into two bands with rotating band members and you could be the headliner and follow band at the same time. there could be some very complex sounds coming from a project like that. so let me know how the situation goes with the show also.

leftover crack IS skacore...well more like a split between ska and grind core.....leftover crack and choking victim are in essence the same band...go on epitaph and take a look at the album covers for both bands you'll find em quite similar....they are mostly all the same members as well...im not sure if they are the complete lineup or not though....but yea....i cant see that show happening until next week...but it'll be without no control, unfortunately.

I don't listen to a lot of punk or but I do listen to a lot of emocore, screamo, hardcore, and emo....I actually don't know what I listen too exactly, I just call it that.

Some of the stuff I've been listening to lately

With Honor
Every Time I Die
As I Lay Dying
Alexisonfire (Good to see screamo go mainstream)

Perhaps some of this stuff is closely tied to the stuff you guys are listening too.

I found a few new bands I've come to like. Once again, I'm not sure if they're really "punk" but whatever

Scratch Acid
Throbbing Gristle
Flux of Pink Indians (might have mentioned them before)
