How much over the speed limit do you drive?

This is what you comfortably average over the speed limit, not your highest ever over the speed limit

i usualy go at least 10 mph over the limit more on the highway.
sometimes i like to relax and drive the speed limit though.

I always stay within the speed limit on highways (which is 120Km/h / 75Mph). Tickets aint worth it.

In the city I usually go 10Kmph over.

highways or interstates i do like 70-80 and 85 to pass
main roads liek through towns and stuff speed limit +5-10
back roads where i know are no cops..what ever my car can get to haha
but usually i stay around 10mph above,then in busy areas etc i do the limit

I usually do the speed limit or less in residential areas, because I find driving 50 (km/h) in a residential area with kids and stuff around seems a bit fast, and being a little bit slower is worth not taking the risk of hitting some little kid playing in the street in my opinion.

As far as on the highway, usually around the speed limit, or about 5-10 km/h over it.

us canadians actually have it a bit better than the u.s....our high ways are about 10-15 km's faster...i dunno about residential/business areas..

I don't believe in cars.

I think it should be clear that there is a difference between miles and kilometers. In Australia and South Africa (and most of the world) we use kilometers. I doubt that the figures mentioned by some people are in km. Perhaps people should mention units so as to avoid confusion!!

Usually i only go 10 mph over the speed limit, but on highways I go faster. So far my fastest is 130, and I passed a cop who was gunning people from the median with a radar. Luckily, I was going fast enough so that he couldnt catch up to me and my exit was the next one so I got off and floored it again. I dont recommend going that fast, instant on is a bitch to people with laser/radar detectors.

i think the fastest ive ever travelled in a car was somewhere around(i say around due to the fact that the needle was buried...)220-240 KM/H..a nice long straight stretch of highway...

I've gone 90-95 mph, but the highway isn't very straight and there are too many cars, and the cops are ooo so unpredictable...

Regardless, 90 feels fun

Man people drive fast here. Like 90 on a 55mph freeway. I drive around 70 usually, but sometimes I'm going 80 or 90 to keep from getting sideswiped.
