Big 3 vs. Sic 1
Big 3 vs. Sic 1
I've been asking people around here which they like better between Sic1 and Big3 and I havn't found that one is prefered overwhelmingly over the other, so I thought this was probably the best way to find out what the footbag community thought. The results of this poll will determine whether we have Big3 or Sic1 at Southeastern Regionals this year. Thanks.

Is sic 1 just one trick?
I think big three is way better...not only is it more challenging, but people like vasek are busting "sic 1's" in his sick threes!
I totally favor sick 3 over sick 1 assuming sick 1 means one trick rather than 3

Why not have both Sick3 and Big One?
Todexon had both contests, and I think they were both great.
Sick 3 is awesome, but most of the time the Big One is so hard you hardly
could link it, if not to a bail. So both contests are very welcome.

I don't know. A Big One doesn't take so long. Have only the players
compete who have made it to the finals, and the contest is done in
less than 5 minutes

I'd much wrather see sick 3 over big 1 . Most everyone has a big trick or can try one, but to have the body control to link big moves makes everything much more admirable. I love seeing sweet combination of moves that look really nice together, or moves that are hard to link together. My simple opinion goes to sick 3.
More C4 please <3
hmm. I much prefer sick 3. I don't think it takes that much skill to hit a big trick, but a lot more to link 3 easier tricks (providing they aren't too easy).
Anyway I just hit my hardest trick in a 3 move combo (at least I think it's my hardest trick). I'll let you know what the combo was after this saturday's free contest in melb.

Sick one is over within 10 minutes of starting the competition. Sick 3 takes 30 minutes.
Sick 3 is "harder" and takes more "control" but sick 1 will generally produce huger tricks and innovations that people want to bust for the first time, which is why I LOVE sick 1.
SICK 1 BABY!

My answer to this question depends on what kind of tournament it is. At worlds, I would like to see both. If there is only time for one, I would rather see the sick 3. The essence of footbag to me is doing combos, so I think a phat combo is usually better than a phat trick.
If the tournament is an intermediate tournament, then I would rather see a Big Trick contest. Last year in Japan, we held a sick trick contest, because while many players could hit big tricks (5 and 6 adds), the best 3 trick combos being hit at the time were usually things like easy 4- 3-easy 4. Since an easy 3 trick combo is less impressive than a hard one trick, we chose to do sick trick.
