Ilie Nastase shoes from Adidas?

Post by Andersen DK »

Hello everybody.....
I was recently browsing the internet and i found this shoe:

http://www.rakuten.co.jp/syusen/426931/ ... 25/532706/

It's an japanese site so i don't understand a word of it.
But i know that this shoe also is used for freestyle footbag, i have seen french players use it a couple of years ago.
If anyone understands japanese here, could you please check if it is possible to make a international order on them?
And if anyone knows if I can get them elsewhere.

several sites I found.....
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/712110/c/6722.html
http://www.bdgmall.com/wvutsronmliheda01349.htm
http://www.shoestoday.org/adidas_Nastas ... 96742.html
ebay.com "Adidas Nastase"
ebay.com "Adidas Rod Laver" or "Adidas Laver"
I wish I didn't wear size 14, there are tons of cheap lavers on ebay that aren't my size!
good luck on finding some nastase (millenniums?)

I wear the regular Nastase. they're great. VERY similar to lavers. Fred from France has played with Nastase and the Nastase milleniums. He liked the original ones better.

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/classicspor ... orsho.html almost to the bottom are 3 colors. It looks like they would work unless the stripes are made of a stiff material.

as I said these shoes are very similar to Lavers.
On a side note, Adidas DOES NOT PRODUCE THESE ANYMORE.

you may be still able to find some in surplus stores and the like.

the adidas outlet in seattle just got a shipment of them. i was checking them out as i recently got a new pair of lavers. could anyone that has had these throw out some feedback. i was peticularly concerned about the stripes on the instep. its basically a laver but with stripes sticking out or creating bumps on the inside of the foot. does anyone have experience or knowledge if this becomes a hinderance on clipper delays??? it looked like it would when i was comparing the two shoes directly but i haven't tried them so i don't know.
whats the dilly?

you could probably mod those stripes out, but why would you want to do that? maybe those stripes could be useful for grip on your stalls,.........

A) I am getting the black and white ones for fucking sure.
B) I'm just going to remove the instep stripes when I do the other mods.

Bam, sick looking footbag shoe.

the end.

review: I modded the stripes off. I also cut off two eyelets on each side of each shoe. They rock.

I'd think you'd cut out the leather just like on leather lavers...

they look like the exact same shoe, but with little annoying stripes on the sides.

modding the stripes off would make them pretty much the same thing as lavers i would think? if ur gonna mod the stripes off i would think it would be wise to save urself some hassle and jus go with lavers.....anyways thats just what i think

ya, there are mesh ones. The ones I super want are the white mesh w/ black stripes ones. just mod off the stripes on the inside, and leave the outside one. i HIGHLY doubt that whipping stripes around will slow you at all.

style points!
