Based on figure a I would have to conclude that Republicans rule. Whether or not they drool is still under investigation (though off the top of my head I know Strom Thurmond (R) was a big drooler, but then again, Robert Byrd (D) will probably very soon become a big drooler himself).
Nooo. It changed after I voted democrat. Now I can't vote more left than democrat. Oh well.
I personally think even with the changes this poll kind of sucks. Maybe to make it a little more accurate (but regardless, we'd still be pidgeon-holing people :-p), you could change it to coordinates for politicalcompass.org ? That's a fun site if I've ever been to one.
I also think there should be more options, especially a 'Socialist/Communist' option for Mike's sake

Ok. I will reset the poll so people who voted for someone other than their party can change their vote and had the socialist option (which is a very broad term but anyway...)
Well, if there were a libertarian socialist / anarcho-communist option, it'd get at least one vote ;-]
