Rise Against is a hardcore band. They used to be in 88 Fingers Louie, don't know if you have heard of them. They are also on Fat Wreck Chords with NOFX.

To be honest, I didn't read this all the way throught, but... Dillinger Four is a great punk band. I got more into jazz when I decided to major in it though.

What a show! I just saw The Code along with Death and Taxes. The Code is so much better live than there CD is, like most bands. I can't believe that such a big band came to such a little town.

I don't know if you are thinking of the same Death and Taxes because they said at a show that they might have to change their name because there was another band with the same name, or something like that.

i dig all the bands you mentioned...unfortunately there is alot of racial stuff tied to some of those bands. i appreciate a band for the band that they are and dont expect them to be anything else but what they are. i know what my beliefs are...you can choose to like em or not, i dont care. alot of the jumps at the racial issue come from people that dont know history of the bands mentioned or what the genre was going through at that time.
and yes ill always have something new to talk about with punk...like the show come the tenth....local bands acting out bands of the past...doing covers and dressing like em and all....sweet...pride kills as minor threat and lluvia dreams as joan jett and the blackhearts...many more...oh i cant wait!!

so alas the most hardcore punker chica i have met in a long time is now gone...bye jenna...beer for yah? cheers girlie...
