Some love from Japan.
Babakay (whom Ive mentioned previously) is still really impressing everybody over here. Ive seen him hit smog, tapping dlo, sumo and fog recently, and hes putting together some short, but nice shuffle strings. We also caught a ripped warrior of his on film over the weekend, so hopefully we can get that on the net soon.
One Japan`s best shreditas, Yuko Abe is starting to hit drifters, and is super close to ripwalk and pixie butterfly. Last year`s female champ Bunko is hitting pixie clippers and pixie butterflies.
Then there`s Takumi, the 14 year old prodigy (Ive posted vids of him hitting phoenix as well as atom smasher). Watch out for this guy. He reminds me of old videos of Vasek, in that he still has a kid`s body, but he already has a feel for the bag, which means that as he grows he will only get better. I taught him whirl on both sides in like 15 minutes over the weekend, and Ive seen him hit both pixie butterflies. He is also working on improving his links: instead of osis to mirage, he`s doing osis-infinity more. I saw him hit osis-infinity bsos over the weekend. He`s hit 3 smears in a row, and he can also fairy.
As for myself, Ive been taking it pretty easy lately. I did hit slapping whirl on my first attempt ever though, and that was pretty cool. And Im also finally hitting flipside janiwalkers, over half a year after I had hit flip furies. Go Japan!
Edit: Takumi also learned toe ripwalk in a hurry; his first quantum trick. he should be hitting more stuff out of this set soon.
Oh, and nice combo erik! I also hit blurry whirl-blurry drifter, and went for bsos but slipped on the 2nd blurry drifter cause the floor was ridiculously slippery.

No new strings, but I did hit some nifty combos...
Spinning Osis > Spinning Osis
Blender > Blender
Ducking Butterfly > Ducking Butterfly
Alternating Dragonfly Kicks, Butterfly Kicks and Flying Clippers
Inside Delay > Heel Delay > Sole Delay > Rake
I also went way back into my old days of circle kicking and did some of our own made up tricks...
Pipeline ** using both feet in between kicks
Spinning Pipeline bs
Cyclone ***
** - Kick the bag up, open up your shirt and let the bag fall through before kicking the bag again
*** - Spinning Butterfly Kick > Spinning Butterfly Kick
I also attempted what I would like to call a Blindsided Pipeline, where you open up your shirt in the back instead of the front and kick the bag behind you after it falls through. It's a toughie.

here some thing you don't see posted every day...
my sister kicked for the first time ever today... she hit the following:
kicked using both toes, insides and outsides
toe stall (she was doing them back and forth)
inside stall (both sides)
outside stall (both sides)
sole stall (both sides)
dragon (strong side)
AND we choreographed a 10 contact doubles routine and hit the whole thing a few times, all this in about 2 hours. she really liked the doubles, she's a natural, but she is going to stay in ballet... fuck.

I'm really enjoying shredding at the moment, despite knee pain all the time.
I have hit recently:
Ducking Clipper>Ducking Clipper
Ducking Clipper>Butterfly
Mirage>Legover>Mirage>Legover>Opp Butterfly>PDX Mirage>Opp Butterfly>PDX Mirage(drop)
Some tiltless strings longer than 12 contacts including mirages, pdx mirages, legovers, osis, butterfly.

Nice job with that Legbeater man! The string is pretty tight too.
(This is also posted in the New Moves thread, but I figured I'd post it here too.) Well, I know I've been on this forum for ages, but today was my first time shredding since last July, and I've had knee surgery recently so my muscles in my left leg actually atrophied. So... I'm working on building them up (clippers are nearly impossible on that side, actually). So I'm counting all the moves I hit today as "new moves," and everytime I hit a new one I'll post it. Just treat me as a beginner, because I basically am, what with surgery and all.
-Pixie>Legover>Mirage>Butterfly
-Mirage>Mirage>Mirage (drop)
So that's all. Still it's pretty good I think, considering my situation. Oh well. I'll be having a LOT of work to do not only with footbag, but also rehabilitating my knee. It's going to be impossible for me to be patient for all of this. Keep supporting me please. Anyways, so that's what I got today.
