Have any of you heard of The Deadones. I just got a few demos and a T-shirt from them. I think they are really good and I plan to buy the album in a few days.

sex pistols are my least favorite punk band....though i really dig my boy tre's vinyl of sid viscious doing solo crap and stand-in crap with other bands...
notice the use of the word crap alot. crap is the first thing that comes to mind with the sex 'crap' pistols and sid 'crap' viscious.

No i did not no what i was getting to when i posted that. And recently i have gone through all the pages of this thread and i havent really found any reason why you dislike those bands. Ok, well i found one, its because theyre emo. But half the time when I listen to Punk you hardly even know what the the words to the song are. And some emo bands have awesome guitaring and drumming. Some of the punk bands ive listened to that you have named just bash the guitar and scream stuff. Im not saying i dont like this, but I dont see whats wrong with blink, sum 41 and rufio and stuff.

Oh and im not trying to cause a big arguement and i dont want anyone disliking me because of my taste in music.

well you know what emo is right???screamo is just another sub-genre of emo...the only difference between them is that the singer is screaming instead of whineing......and sometimes its an acoustic band....i hate it with a passion...

This thread is starting to look like a conversation over an instant messanger program. Short sentences back and forth, I had to take a look at this thread because, why in the world would there be so damned many responses to a simple thread named Really good punk bands.

probably we are passionate about our favorite genre of music...if you have a problem with than than i ask you to not look at this thread again...maybe you should have read the entire thread then you'd realise not only that this has had many large sentances but it has also been helpful to those that enjoy punk.....this thread isnt only really good punk bands its more of an appreciation thread.....maybe it should be renamed the punk rock appreciation thread...hey rob if your reading and have the time could you change it to that???if not than its all good...anyways do you guys listen to defiance at all???or have you heard of the CHAOS DRUNK PUNX(their a montreal based band so i doubt you have)....also another good chaospunk band is the vomit punks....their very hard to find though...
