Well, it's finally happened!!!

Gone are the days when the bent over ass crack belonged solely to the professional man; your plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and occasional carpenter.

Womens jeans and underwear today have gotten so hip-huggin' low that a little bending down often leaves their ass cracks wide open to the passer-by.

Is this acceptable to men and women alike?

Men, is this yet another attempt by women to take our masculinity from us? Are we to be distracted by female ass crack and let the women of the world take yet another of our definitively macho traits and soften it with sex appeal?

Women, has your arduous ascension to equality not had enough hindrance? Will you squat idly by whilst the fashion idustry undermines thousands of years of feminine struggle?

OR...

Men, is our inner spirit finally fulfilled? Does gladness fill our heart when we see a fellow "butt cracker" of the opposite sex? Have we had enough of the vile stares and remarks so that we are now willing to share this most personal attribute with the fairer sex? Do our female partners now understand us better as they too feel the cool wind blow through the tops of their depressed buttocks?

Women, is this perhaps another step toward equality? Now that you experience the glances and glares upon your anal cleavage do you feel more fulfilled? Has your fight finally reached that ultimate personal level? Are you closer to your men? Do you finally perceive the symbiotic connection you have been longing for?

So what exactly does that mean? It means that while my initial post was meant to be light and somewhat humorous, it was not meant to draw juvenile sexist testosterone filled comments.

While I too appreciate the fine female form, I'm hoping there is someone out there who actually has a somewhat intelligent thought on the matter.

I didn't expect to have and intelligent discussion with you about it, but I do think there is an intelligent discussion to be had.
While it's a subject that's definitely on the lighter side of morality, I think there IS a decency issue and a double standard involved when it comes to ass crack and I thought someone out there might have a bit of social commentary on the matter.
I guess this is the wrong place to attempt such a discussion.

From the girl's point of view, I think it's disturbing and they need to pull their pants up. I hate it when I realize mine is showing, and when I do notice, I fix it. I am usually pretty aware of it though, so it doesn't happen that much.

i guess it is a double standard- because a little but cleavage looks good on a girl but not so good on a dude. in my opinion.

i dnt really know if there is a double standard because one sex likes it and the other doesnt. guys et all horned over it but if a girl sees a guys butt crack even on a hot guy they r turned off.
