If I school my stepping ducking, then I think I might have a shot at this. It would definitely be sick.

Does lynton have stepping ducking?

yeah I've seen lynton hit Jackknife a few times, but only on one side I think. Lynton doesn't play much these days so I don't think he could hit it. He's hit rasmus>atomic warrior, but that's probably as close as he's come.

i reckon Phil from new zealand may be able to do this one day, not that ive asked him or anything. but he can hit ripped warrior and alpine blurry whirl both sides, and ive seen him hit alpine blur several times and alpine legbeater

it would be crazy fucking hard tho, so much energy and precision

This will definitely be hit! I would love to see it on video when it is. I have been schooling my stepping ducking, but atomic ducking is so hard!! It takes so much energy for me to throw it that high... Whoever hits this first would be a badass! Bustin Justin could do it I bet.... I can't remember if he has atomic ducking real schooled though..

yeah Lynton first named the move Skull Smasher, but then changed the name to Rasmus. I'm not sure why he changed the name - but he does tend to name moves before he's hit them (for example he named Icarus when he first attempted it - a year or two ago) so maybe Skull Smasher was the name he had before he'd hit the move. Anyway he invented the move and he calls it Rasmus, so I guess that's the official name.

edit:
Allan Haggett would get close this I think - he has very solid stepping ducking and although I've never seen him duck his atomics, I bet he can...

I thought of Derek too. He has very strong stepping ducking and has ducked atomic both sides (though alpine rubberman is a LOT of atomic ducking!!).

I've hit instead so far
ripped warrior>spike hammer (alpine blur)>atom smasher:repeat
This combo will have a duck on the atom smasher soon as well.
I've bee working on a solid atomic warrior and im aways from a solid alpine atom smasher.

@honza: was that before or after i requested it from you at footjam? PROPS no matter when!

last year i was joking with ellis about it at worlds, and we couldn't think of anybody who we'd think would be close to hitting it.

i haven't seen yves duck his atomic yet. but yves doesn't try stuff much. he just hits stuff when he is ready and then he has it dialed... so he might spend a practice session on it once and'll hit the stuff like nothing. we'll see
