Post by HooD »

I want to make some shred cd's for myself, I don't have any programs to d/l music from, what do you recommend, why, and if you feel like it, give me some band names so i can search. I like to shred to anything with metal, tech, hip-hop, and anything that's got some nice rhythem and beat to it.
More C4 please <3

LimeWire has worked pretty well for me, so far. If you're on a Mac, XFactor is also a very nice client.

I used to use Kazaa K++ but then accidentally deleted it, and got Soulseek, which has worked out a lot better, and I've actually been able to find the most obscure stuff that I could never find on Kazaa K++.

Soulseek is the best for obscure electronic music I think. It's all I ever use.

I used to use kazaa. But it loaded my computer up with a boatload of spyware. Someone introduced me to winmx, but with all the fines for music pirating now, i don't use that program but once in about 6 months. I used musicmatch's "buy the song" program, but they have crappy protection on it meaning i don't get to listen to it on an mp3 or get to integrate it into videos of mine...so i don't buy from there either.

So, i don't use a music download program anymore. I'm a clean man :)

I just got LimeWire (http://www.limewire.com), and I must say, awesome program, fast, efficient and encompassing. No Spyware or Adware, no annoying popups except the one asking you to buy it if you like it when you start it up. I would recomend it. It's kazaa the way it should have originally been.

Im gonna buy it just cause its great.

Kazaa Lite K++, legal to download songs in Canada for personal use. :D I still support the bands and usually go out and by there cds. If you have adware problems download either Ad-Aware or Spy Bot Search and Destroy.
