One of my minis is green, yellow, and red and it is not broken in yet, I am comparing the level of break in to my regular abshire as well as others regular broken in abshires. I may not link 5's but I know what is broken in and what is not. And there is a big difference between usable, playable and broken in. I can stall and shred with a set of keys that doesnt mean i consider them playable same goes for bags. I could hit any trick I can do with my mini but for strings it doesnt feel broken in enough for me.

Jon, The mini style promotes a faster speed when shredding. Play with it soaked for two sessions and that should do the trick. That is what I do when I break-in my bags.

You mean with a wet bag, right? Doesn't that harm the bag?

Don't know what to say guys... I rolled it in my hands for about a day, and then shredded with it. It has not gotten any better, or easier to stall, it is just broken in, and was in only a few days. Maybe I spent more time gently rolling it in my hands than most do. I used a bit of fabric softener on it as well, but it was basically ready to shred after the first session. It took a day or two to really feel the catch, but I can stick a spinning osis or ducking butterfly and _hold_ it there for several seconds. Not sure what all of you mean by the bag being rolly... I would simply concentrate on the catch more. It is not the bags fault, although yes it is more rolly than a floppy sandman.

Not trying to disrespect daryls sandmans at all... they are quality bags for sure!

In another thread you've said not to play with the bag when its wet because it picks up more dirt that way ... So, which is it?

Mine gets dirty faster when wet . . . but since the mini seems to be playable wet, I just resoak it when it gets dirty and wring it out.

After awhile the bag will expand a little and will not need water. It is not the size of the mini, but how loose it is. Once the stitching has broken-in, then the bag is ready to shred with or without water. This only takes about an hour of rubbing and rolling it to get it to that point.Richie

I have known Richie since 1991, when we met down in Mission Beach at Hamels during a Hacky Sack Frisbee Festival, and I know that I have the largest selection of his bags, dating back to 1991 to present of anyone on this planet, and I can attest that he is the best freestyle footbag maker on earth, not to mention, he is one of the top players in the world, and one of the most fun to watch. Well with that out of the way, his new minis set better, come up farther when set right, and just plan outperform his regular bags in my opinion. They stay tighter, and when you are hit that move just right, it just feels like no other bag I have ever used. I am not in BAP, but I can hold my own for a 36 year old, and I know a lot about footbags, for I use to make them too. But as for the progression of the sport, it is good to see someone so dedicated to perfecting the very thing that makes footbaging possible, the footbag itself. If you aren't playing with a Richie bag, then you are going to be left in the dust, for Rickie has always been on the forefront on technology, and I am glad that I have known him for the last 13 years. The mini weights in at around 37 to 40 grams, and that might seem heavy, but it just works, plan and simple. The new mini is just what the doctor ordered, and Richie is always testing bags, filler, sticking techniques, and materials in order to make the best bag he can. My best bag is the one I play with, and right now, it is my little orange and green mini. The new mini is the best there is, so buy one, and you won't be looking back, but forward into what is possible and what might be. Take care my footbag friends, Michael Adcock

Thanks again Mike. I should be getting my new New Balance 520's today. Ican't wait. You should try them on and see if you like them. I ordered the 10 1/2 size. I think Big Add Chad is coming down this weekend. Maybe Cameron Kennedy will drive down too. Small shred jam in San Diego this weekend. Good weather, hot girls, awesome shred and did I mention hot girls. Later,Richie

You gotta get a review of the 520's I have been looking into them because they have a wide model shoe and I have wide ass feet.

I wouldn't wait. I know that the basic structure is the same with better features than the ct300s. The toe box looks smaller, but the sole has a better performance grid which means better traction and response. I will post a review as soon as I have that info ready. My tests are complete with honest pros and cons. I was part of the ct300. Cameron Kennedy and I were the first to use them and promote them as a new alternative to the laver. I believe this shoe will deliver even more than the ct300s. Hope this helps and will post review soon.Richie

From the pics I have seen the instep doesn't look as good as the one on the 330. But I maybe wrong, the black ones also look slick as hell.
