WV having it's first jam!

Post by bob »

Thats right everyone, WV is having it's first jam. About time right? With all the great East Coast tourneys that have been happening, the WV crew felt it was our time and the opportunity has presented itself in the best way possible. Jamie Whoolery is hosting the 5th annual juggling festival and has graciously allowed us footbaggers to join. and trust me, you don't wanna miss this. This seriously is the best venue i've ever seen.

venue includes:

3 adjoining basketball courts to footbag!!

leisure:

50' foot climbing wall!
whirlpool
6 lane fitness pool
bubble jet couch?!??!
leisure pool with beach style entry

and just tons of other shit. trust me, this event is going to be huge and the venue is awesome. and here is the great part. it's only 4 bucks! 4 DOLLARS TO USE ALL THESE FACILITY FEATURES!

and the best part of all.......SHRED WITH BRAD NELSON, BOB GLASSER, AND JOHN MAHOOD!!! WE ROCK!!!

Dude I'm there. As long as I can find transportation, and it's not during my freshman college orientation (which I have to sign up for sometime soon... I don't know which dates me and my friends are picking), I'll be there. I'm gonna spread word about it with my friends. Regardless of whether or not I get to go, THANKS for putting up another East Coast tourney. I appreciate it.

The dates changed to just June 5th and 6th. We can't make it up on the 4th. It hasn't changed on the front page of footbag.org cause I think Steve has to do that personally.

well apparently something fell through and now, to access all the other stuff (pool, track, whirlpool) you have to pay an extra 4 bucks in addition to the 4 to get in. This was not our doing, but sorry anyway.

read here:

http://www.angelfire.com/wv/jugglingfest/#opengym

under "admission fee changed"

HOWEVER, for four dollars you still get 2 full days of 3 adjoining basketball courts of footbag bliss!

Hey Brad , Bob and John,
You can count on me , Nick Miller and Josh Benham on being there for sure. Sounds like a great facility and like its gonna be a blast. Is everyone gonna be staying at the host hotel??? And could you guys come up w/ a confirmed attendee list at some point cuz it sounds like it should be pretty big. See ya soon.

Just wondering... it's $79 per night... how many beds? I'm so damn broke, that might make or break whether I'm going, but I'm really excited cuz I'm pretty sure I can rob this bank...

So who all's going to this? Me and my friend Gabe our booking our hotel room sometime tonight... we won't be at the host hotel though. Probably the Econo-Lodge... it's cheaper, haha. So yeah now I'm looking at disposable cameras to buy. I'm getting excited; this will be my first time playing footbag with people who are better than tiltless! (IE my first jam/tourney type environment) So yeah, who will be going to this?

Let's see here, We've got Bob Glasser, Brad Nelson, and myself ( all WV crew) Caleb Abraham , Josh Benham, Ryan Thomass. I personally asked Bob Riefer, he said he'd try to make it if possible , that would be most excellent if he could make a suprise appearance. I'm sure there will be plenty of noobs running around and kicking. Any other names ?? I think Nick Miller and some philly guys are coming. Also some people from New Jersey, possibly Jon Schneider. Peter and Lonn Irish are possibilities, but I don't think there was any confirmation, so I doubt they will be coming, since they have Easterns directly after. I reaally don't know how the turn out will be, but either way, it's gonna be some DAMNED FUN SHRED. It's too bad the Easterns date was adjusted to right after ours.

Yeah, I know. This just about ran me broke. I'm going to both, though, so hells yeah.
