Have you ever been kicked out of a spot where you were shredding?

We have, but not often.
We used to play in front of the pavilion building in the cities biggest park, like right in front of the entrance where all these rich people would come for their $1000 lunches with the mayor and stuff. A few times we played there some inline skaters and BMXers showed up and did tricks and stuff on the stairs while we played. The security guard would go up to them and point to the no skateboarding sign and say, "Sorry guys, you can't do that here." And then he would point to us and say, "But this is fine, you can do this if you want!" Almost like he was promoting footbag. We came to know the security guard from all the times we played there and he would always ask us about tricks and scoring and stuff. The skaters liked to ask us things too. It was really neat!
(Oh and not as cool, but the rich people would sometimes yell down props from their posh balcony above us @____@)

I was playing in the hallway of my school, i know bad idea, but my teacher was late and the door was locked, when he showed up he scooped up my bag not saying a word... I assumed i'd get it back at the end of class so shrugged it off... at the end of class i asked him about it and he said he threw it... and that "sometimes you have to learn lessons the hard way."
I was so pissed

hmmm, sometimes we play on the HMV stage at West Edmonton Mall (biggest mall in the world
). Usually it's not a problem, but on occasion we've been "asked to leave" nicely and sometimes not so nicely. Anyways, this one time when we were shredding to some music (plugged into the stage) with a decent crowd watching, these 2 security gaurds came up and told us we couldn't kick on the stage. OK, whatever.. not a problem. I'm not sure, but I think Kevin might have asked "why?", but not in like a confrontational tone or anything. Just a general enquiry. Their response was something like "cause it's not allowed", and then the one security gaurd followed it up with: "You know, technically, playing your music is stealing from the mall... You know.. the electricity." and then looking quite satisfied they walked away. Ridiculous
. We joked later that Kevin should have left a dime on the stage to compensate the mall's for its loss.

I think that's pretty ridiculous that they had to compensate by telling you that you were "technically" stealing from the mall's resources. Then again, they kind of have a point... but I really don't think it's worth them making that point... seriously you should've left a dime and scribbled it on a sheet of paper... between the dime and the paper, they would've had enough I think.
I think I've been kicked out (more like asked politely to "stop please) a few times. The most extreme time was when a security guard at our school threatened to suspend us if we got caught inside again. Let's just say that I'm a little tanner... although we played inside this year. That was last year.

We were able to get into the Beam Hall business building. It was great! snack machines and bathrooms a soft kick's away. But some asshole said we were making too much noise up there, and other people were trying to work.
My, and a few others, thoughts were if someone was disturbed by the noise we were making, they could have come out and politely asked us to move elsewhere. I'm tempted to go back up there... Stupid dick...

at our school in moncton teachers and the principal are'nt too overly worried with playing footbag inside aslong as were careful(if were in a hallway)or if were in "the old gym" ...i've been kicked out of a mall for a month for asking why i couldent kick there...their excuse was that i was "endangering the public with my wreckless something or other"
stupid malls

Jeez- I would have thought every single freestyler in the world has been kicked out of some place or other.. Let me list the places.
Woodlands Mall- numerous times
Deerbrook Mall- countless times
Vans Skate Park / Edwards Marquis [outdoor] Shopping Center- several times
Hermann Park- It was raining, and they needed the covered area for something else..
The Galleria [shopping center]- 3x in one day. We were desperate for a place to kick out of the rain, and thought we could hide from security. [this was right after leaving Hermann Park]
The athletic facilities at Sam Houston State University- twice
Some public park in Spring- once. The cop even thought it was dumb, but they got a complaining call from someone in the neighborhood saying we were making too much noise or some bullshit. It was about midnight.
I'm sure there are more. Atleast all the security guards are cool about it and not dicks. There's a security guard at Deerbrook Mall who's kicked us out so many times, we're on a first-name basis with him.. And they know who we are as soon as we enter Woodlands Mall. We've been kicked out of there before we even started shredding.

haha, that HMV thing was funny. His main reason was that the stage's intended use was not hackysack, or somesuch. But later, as Rory said, he goes, "...and you know, technically that's theft." *points to stereo*
Me: "What? What is?"
Guy: "The stereo. You're stealing the mall's electricity."
Me: "..."
(What do you even say to that? I was sure he was joking. He wasn't.)
