That's well-known fact that it's hard to buy Adidas Rod Laver Shoes in Europe otherwise to order them by e-shops.
Not long ago i found shoes that can be substitution for Lavers. They look very much alike Lavers and have almost the same surfaces. Most part of Russian shredders use them.
They are produced by "Savier" and called "Story" ("Vice" for women).
There are only 2 differences - they are a bit heavier but have a good soft soles.
These shoes you can be found in many skateshops all over Europe. The only problem is that the last collection produced by "Savier". The company has already retired or going to, as i know. But if you try to find them you will.
And now take a look at the pictures:

Savier Story Shoe: Interview with Tim O'Connor
Aside from “spraining his ankles every half hour or so” skateboarding, Tim O’Connor also enjoys writing stories. Funny stories. Absurd stories. Stories about stories. It really doesn’t matter to Tim. Because he’s done such a fine job perfecting his craft, Savier decided to inscribe his latest short story onto the soles of their new shoe, the “Tim O’Conner Story Shoe” (see photo). We think it’s quite an honor—and a unique idea to boot.
Your skateboarding career is well-documented, but not many people know about your writing background. Do tell.
My writing background is this simple: I went to school, learned how to spell and then later in life Lance Dawes asked me to write an article for SLAP because he liked my brain. That article went on to win a Pulitzer prize, so since then other people have asked me to write things for their magazines. Now my articles are translated into over 75 different languages and dialects around this marvelous planet.
So why did you apply this to a shoe of all things?
This guy Steve at Savier told me it could be done, so that's why.
Your story uses a lot of observational humor, Seinfeldian almost. Are you a fan of his comedy, or are we totally off the mark here?
I just happen to be watching Seinfeld right now. What a wonderful coincidence. Hell yeah I'm a fan of him and the other guy that worked with him on the show, Larry David. That guy is a healthy comedian. I also like this other chap named Mitch Hedburg who's usually real dirty-looking. Steven Wright is the man from Galilea for me though. If he starts a religion I’ll be a disciple.
Your shoe resembles the Adidas Rod Laver. Does it skate better than the Laver? Is the sole grippy enough?
I've never skated in the Rod Laver but I know a kid that skated in them once. And yes the shoe looks exactly like a Rod Laver. This isn’t my signature shoe; it's just something that I gave them words for. I’m planning on getting a bonus of some golden nuggets though for letting them have some spare thoughts from my brain. When I come out with a shoe, that thing will be snapping peoples necks in the street when they try catch a glimpse of them joints. I got mad fashion sense, son!!! I haven't skated the shoe yet, so I have no idea if it’s grippy, but I’ll put the guarantee out there that it will be perfectly grippy. Mad grip, like a circle jerk.
Are you going to continue this idea with future shoes? Will other Savier riders join in the fun, or is this strictly your gig?
I’m sure this is strictly my gig for right now cause I’m the cat on the team that writes stuff and the other guys do other stuff. But, I’m always down for original ideas like that, so maybe we’ll try to do something like put our actual pro toe and fingernail clippings in the rubber of a shoe sole somewhere down the line. Mad innovation, son!!!!
