First Try = New Move

Post by Splint »

So my back is totally fu#ked up right now and I can't really kick a session, but to keep myself in the game I periodically do single tricks and low impact stuff.

(this process took about 5 seconds) So here I am at work and I pull my bag out and this move comes into my head and I drop the bag and nail it on the first shot.

The best way to explain it is to call it a Reverse Swirling Frigid-Osis.

clip > same front > back spin > same frigid-osis

It looked and felt really cool.

Yes it's a legititmate move. One flaw of the add system is that this move is only considered an inside delay so its only worth 1 add. If you wanted to argue that it does involve a "twist of your body" and thus contains a BOD component then you could say it's worth 2 adds. Many people don't hit this move because, like dragon, it's fairly difficult to play in and out of smoothly, and then of course there's the whole add thing for some people.
Yes, Steve invented frigid osis long ago. So did I, only he did it first. When I first met him at '98 Southern Regionals he busted my chops for hitting "his move" in a circle. Here I thought I invented a cool move only to find out it was invented already  . It was fun, and at the time he was much better at it than I was. Good times, good times.

What I did was to hit a Swirl first, throw in a Back Spin, and then catch on a Frigid Osis.
If you talk adds it's 3 or 4 if you count the BOD and if I made it an actual osis instead of frigid it would have been 5.
