I don't think modified is the official forum - rather .org. Maybe you should change the wording a bit. Also, maybe modified should get an official logo, to replace the logo of phpBB. But it looks very nice. You seem to have a real talent for design.

I like Gareth's alot as well. Only thing is to maybe change the silhouette to a more "action" pose. On the other hand, I like the atmosphere it seems to create. When I look at yours, it seems to focus more on the community aspect of the forum, rather than on shredding (which is cool).

Seath: yours looks alot better without the flames you had previously. Smaller text might help, I don't think the two guys should go over the text.

gareth your sticker is a little dark. I may have to do negative imaging. I have finished a set of the other modified ones done by seath and they look great. I still need more sticker paper before I go buck wild here.
Also lets get more designs out here, there is only two designs in this whole thread, which has been around for a while now. You guys are great thanks!

Just an idea but maybe a "real" Hacky sack should be located on the sticker somewere so people that dont know what a sandman or freestyle footbag is can still relate to the sticker. just an idea.

Alright, I started work on this sticker last night... I've put about an hour into it. Lot's of cropping work :S.

I'll post a prototype in a couple minutes, I have an idea but I can't remember how to do a certain thing.

Alright... here it is. Not done yet though. I was thinking that a cool idea would also to make a flyer-like handout, and on the back (which would simply be white) have simple black text with some basic information/history about the sport of footbag. A few facts and such to help people start to understand footbag.

Image

Also, if someone with Photoshop experience could help me out... I'm wondering what's the best way to make a faded/transparent strip/stripe? Alot of techy images have them, often with text on it.

Thanks for any help.

Oh, and feedback in all forms is welcome on my design.

EDIT - Wow Adam, I didn't even see your stickers for some reason. Very nice!

Hi everyone :)
I really like the stickers do far! Keep up the great work.I only have one suggestion to make: for post production you should use 300dpi thats a standart that works quite well for printing pictures (I mean on real big printing machines :))

Cool, I like the idea of a sticker or flyer. Normally I notice the people who do actually stop and watch for a bit, and having a flyer/sticker to give to them regarding the basic information about footbag would be great.

Hmm, for some reason the crop job looks really crappy. I touched it up and it looked really good while in photoshop, but now that I'm viewing from this webpage it looks like ass... I don't get it.

I guess I'll fix it again at home later.

Where, where where can I get some of those? All the designs in the thread are awesome. What is stopping the production of these stickers? Is it money? If so, then ask around for other interested parties to come on board. Don't let these great ideas go to waste.Richie

Agreed. I'd pay some money for these, as long as they were decent-quality stickers. I've got some room for some more stickers.

Alright, can someone help me out here? In the sticker I posted above... can you see different colors around Ales? Like greys and stuff, signs of a bad cropping job basically... because I fixed it up, and it looks great I think. But on the computers at my school (which are brand new) it looks as if I didn't touch it up, definately a MAJOR noticable difference.

So, on your computer... do you see a bunch of crap outlining Ales (besides for the obvious intended black outer glow)?

Thanks.

There's no gray on my computer; looks perfect. The whole sticker could use a border I guess... I thought *that's* what you were originally saying.

Yeah, looks to me like the gray stuff is there. It's pretty hard to notice though.

I don't understand why it's there for some computers, and not for others. I'm going to try making a .png instead, they don't flatten layers as much as .jpg's do. Yeah a better border will soon come.

Thanks.
