We really appreciate your credits on the website. The site and video teaser actually attracted a very large sponsor for the upcoming Euros here in Copenhagen. At the moment the attention on the Euros04 and footbag are getting pretty hectic in Denmark.
Two 12 seconds TV commercials including hardcore footbag were broadcasted yesterday on all major Danish television channels. They will go on for the next two months and commercial blocks is even bought for the EC finals in soccer. The TV commercials are basically short versions of our Euros teaser.
Today different Danish footbag players displayed in ads (whole page) in some of the most sold Danish newspapers, an on going process as well. Three weeks before the Tournament we get our own TV commercial for the Euros for every 10’th commercial they broadcast. EM Posters, flyers, radio, in store campaigns etc. will also be part of the campaign.
Finally the sponsorship includes our footbag club is taking responsibility for a Denmark Summer Freestyle Tour in an old bus, distributing 5000-6000 sandbags in audience competitions as well as doing freestyle demos. The total campaign efforts will go on for about 2 ½ months.
We managed to sell footbag as a hardcore and cool sport and all funds from the sponsorship go to the Euros. Lifestyle marketing is a powerful tool these days and the sponsor fully honours our wish to keep it real all the way, because it is exactly what we persuaded them to buy. The basic argument we used was that footbag represent uniqueness and new means to differentiate your lifestyle in order to get street respect.
We already have and defiantly will put a serious effort in creating an event you will never forget. Copenhagen will treat you like Kings and Queens this summer and the Euros will be a BLAST! Please register soon and don’t miss this event if at all possible. Can’t wait to see you all.

wow shit that sounds like, the most awesome footbag ad campaign ive ever heard? i cant believe u guys got so much exposure and advertising!! is it costing u much money? what companies are sponsoring u, any that we would recognise outside of Denmark?
