i am wondering about what shoes i should be using. right now i am just using some regular skate shoes, they seem to be working out for me ok i guess.

As for Erik's comment about both sidedness: that is most definetly THE rule to follow. He knows what he's talking about!!! And I hear it over and over and over from him, but it really is a valuable thing to remember.

and shoes, I know you are just beginning, but if you really want to get into footbag, later on you could switch over to lavers. I'm not very good yet so I usually play in socks. I recently tried the lavers though, and I liked them, so maybe hook up with hackrifice and you could try out one of those guy's shoes or something. okay, enough for me. talk to you later!

I have lavers even though I am not that good, because I like wearing them as my normal shoes, and they are so nice... I love them... It helped me so much when I first switched to them...

Am I the only one who has a trouble with shoes? Especially in the size. My size is around 9, depends on the manufacturer - even different shoes size 9 by the same manufacturer may be too large or too small for me. So I'm not quite sure what size Lavers should I get. It's risky if I order them across the ocean and they don't fit.
I don't know how and where could I try someone's Lavers because I've never met anyone who owns these shoes.

So, how did you know how to buy your first pair? Lucky guess or something? Or were you completely sure? I'm in a big trouble if I don't get myself Lavers, because my old shoes (running shoes) are going to tear in pieces soon (it's a shame cause they are light and actually pretty good).

well my feet are still growing, and plus I have heard they came ran small so I ordered to different sizes and the wore the smaller ones first then switched to the larger ones when my small ones got holes.... but yeh my feet are still growing, I think they are supposed to run small though...

Theres also a cm measurement on the tag too, which may be more standardized than a US 9 measurement.
