Could you (or someone else) please give us the URL of the best moves list? I've once seen that one really good moves list but I don't remember the site (plus I forgot to add it to my links...Splint wrote:NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
That is THE WORST moves list ever created. Don't ever ever ever ever ever list that as a resource to ANYONE.
Hypothetical Best Trick Standoff Situations

Nice choice of moves!
I'd have to go with Clipper set Backside Omelette ( would Bubba Flail be an accurate name, or only if the first Illusion is uptime? ).
Both are super stylish!

clip diving symp whirl. the foot switching into the PS whirl allows you to re-set your balance and prepare for the dex just before you do it, whereas with clip diving symp whirl... hmmm... well, I guess you could do a little hop with the dex leg just before dexing that would serve the same purpose.
but I still think CDSW because to do the head dex in that one, you have to turn your upper body a little bit so that you can dive under a straight up set for the symp whirl, and then turn your body back to place for the dex, whereas with Mullet, there's not as much body turning because you kind of arc the bag and it goes right over your head.
I'll just try them both when I get home and see what I think. maybe I shouldn't have written all this first

diving. no question IMO.
actually how about sick3 combos?
rate those three combos:
A - butterfly swirl> rev swirl > rev swirling pickup
B - blurriest> blur> motion (paradon style)
C - blurry whirl> pdx whirl> ps whirl
this is 3 sick3 combos from this years german footbag open ... the judges were all of different opinion...

now this is a tough one.
I'd say B A C.
C is seen way to much and the 2 five adds are done with the same foot.
A is hardly ever seen but its all one foot swirl and not a whole lotta adds.
B has a double dex with both feet but it realy depends on how clean the motion was. With a clean motion it should take first

yeh B>C>A i reckon... the second combo has a few different concepts, a harder link with the blurriest>blur, and Motion isnt seen that often i dont think (as far as i have seen) and its got double downs and stepping both sides
C is too 'stock standard' these days despite the high adds... and A, while being stylie and unique, is all one sided and low adds, it doesnt really stand up to the others

I'd have to say b>c>a as well.
B is easily the best of the three - it has big variety, two hardish moves and one hardish link (stepping out of blurriest)
C definintly has some wow factor - blurry whirl and ps whirl are cool looking moves, but are fairly easy and it has no hard links. Were I judge I wouldn't penelise a person for doing a combo that other people have done (although I'd reward people for doing unusal combos).
A is also impressive and shows a great deal of skill - all it's links are hard, but the actual moves aren't that hard. (I wouldn't judge it on the low add scores - I don't think this is relvent - but rev swirl and rev swirling pickup are both fairly easy, and butterfly swirl is also easy - although it's diffilculty depends somewhat on where it's set from.

I'm not really going to vote. I think they all have something totally sucky in them and I'll list that part.
A...I love this combo as a combo, but because of the ease of the swirl as the second trick, it totally de-sickifies it in terms of a sick 3. Also (I know adds schmads and the like) to have a 4>3>3 as a Sick three???
B...I think Blurriest> Blur is the most difficult connection of all the three combos, but then toe set motion turns it to boredom. Now make it a Paradon Swirl and you've got my attention.
C...BORING. Sick 3 means SICK 3. I can't hit this combo...at least the PS Whirl anyway, but if you watch the circles at worlds this year about 90% of the top freestylers will hit this combo while still warming up.
LET'S MAKE THIS INTERESTING:
A: Big Apple > Jani Walker > PS Whirling X-body Rake
B: Blurrier > Blurriest > Bedwetter
C: Blurry Torque > High-Stepping Butterfly > Vortex

A is clearly the hardest and the most impressive looking. Big Apple and PS Whirling xbrake are both big Wow factor moves and hitting jani Walker out of big apple would be insanity!
C is also very impressive, but blurry torque and vortex are both fairly easy, and the showcase of the combo - high stepping butterfly, doesn't have much wow factor. Barraging out of a blurry torque would definitly be hard - but blurry torque doesn't have the flair that Big Apple does.
B - of all three this is the combo I could come closest to hiting. While both links are not easy - they aren't that hard - I'm sure plenty of people can step out of double downs. It is three triple dexes - but they are all easy triples. Also it's lacking variety compared with the others - it's all just dexing moves.
