If so, use this: http://freecache.org/http://www.footbag ... lender.wmv.

If not, people should wait 'til he reuploads it.

It is really difficult to tell with this video which way the dex is going and if you get the dex. You're good enough that you know whether or not you get the dex.

Yeah, it kind of looks like a food processor. But if you look closely, the first dex is basically a leggy atomic set from clipper. Feels like a clean dex, but I don't know if it's legit or not.

Does the bag come up from the inside or outside of the dexing leg?

I just slowmoed it. It comes up on the inside of the leg, but it is a leggy out-to-in dex and it's very clean!!

You guys still don't have videos up on the website :(

Thank you Erik. I've really been schooling the set and I'm glad to hear that it wasn't a waste of time.

There aren't any vids on our site because we don't have very good cams. I think Adam Dexter will be buying one shortly after Worlds.

bubba pdx blender!?! Sweet, I'll have to wait till I get home to watch it and download the huge file. I might have time to compress it for you and slow it down, so that people can see the set better if it is hard to see.

Props man, I can't wait to watch it. I wonder if Genzu has hit this?

correct/ridicule me if I'm wrong BUT:

if it comes up INSIDE the leg and then theres a leggy out dex, that would make it a null (as in, the two dexes cancel eachother out) the same as a normal clipper set. To do a bubba set this way you would have to perform another out dex after the first one. correct?

I think it would "cancel" it out only in the same way that the dexes in a pixie fairy set are "cancelled out". I'd point you to the thread where Damon talks about these sets, but it's not there anymore. In fact, he named stepping same side atomic the null set.

More stuff...

Although the bag is passing through the inside of my leg, I'm pretty positive there is only one dex involved in the set. I picture the null set as moving the dexing leg outwards then back inwards. I don't have a "wiggling" motion -- just a hop backwards while doing a single dex. True?

I encoded these new vids to a smaller bit size. Not as good quality -- but from 100+MB down to about 5!! :D

Firstly there is no way I'm going to download a 40mb movie of one trick. So I haven't watched the video, but I'd like to know - with the bubba set - how many times does the bag pass infront of the first dexing leg. To be a correct bubba set it should be twice, once before the first dex and once after the first dex. If it's only one than I'd call the move "the" or just a style pdx blender.

It's pretty obvious to me that Jorden isn't doing a Bubba set at all. The dex he's doing is the rewind of that weird pseudo-butterfly that some of you have seen Matt Cross, Allan Haggett or Jubal Hume do. Nothing against the "pseudo-butterfly" (what's that called?), it's actually quite stylie.

For a clean Bubba set, the bag should come over and to the inside of the dex leg before the reverse mirage dex. In other words, your leg should pass under (in-out), over (out-in), and under (in-out) again on a bubba set. Jorden is just tucking his leg over the bag (in a reverse mirage motion) on its way up, but there's no real dex.

No offense, Jorden, but I hope you want honest opinions, not just kiss-asses. No offense to kiss-asses (who probably just aren't experienced enough to really call a move clean). :)

EDIT: I would more closely compare Jorden's move to a Stepping set than a Bubba. It's the same motion as a Stepping set, but with the leg tucked, so the bag passes under the shin rather than under the hamstring.

Also, notice that I'm not dissing Jorden's move. I'm just pointing out what I think it is, and what I think it's not.

I watched the vid in slowmotion on fullscreen. There isn't any dex. 'Just' stylie Pdx Blender. No Bubba Set.

Thanks Ellis. I appreciate an honest response from someone with a great deal of experience. I pretty much agree with you on all your points.

I set the bag up straight on the trick, instead of on an arc from one side to the other, like stepping. There are slight variations like this from the set and stepping set.
