Ok new question, back in the days of the "great paradox debate" there was also talk of barraging moves, who made the following comments:

has anyone hit barraging butterfly (and is there a name for this)... it seems to me that this is logical step down from nemesis (also referred to as flurriest... will someone hit it and name it already)...

OK, this isn't the question that I wanted to ask, but I am not sure of the other ones answer.

Who invented the game called "basket bag"?

Well someone has to take a crack at it.
I've searched the hell out of the dot org archives and I've done massive internet searches. The only thing that I can come up with is this game from footbag.com (the enemy

45. Foot Basket - The best way to visualize this is as a cross between footbag, soccer and basketball. This game works best with 2 teams of about 4 or 5 players. It is played on a court with limitless boundaries and 2 rings (e.g. a circle on the ground or a basket) placed 8 meters (26.6 feet) apart. The idea of the game is to pass the footbag around without the use of hands and to put it in the ring at which time one point is awarded. Some additional rules are if it touches the ground it is a handover to the team who didn't drop it. If a player is able to stall the footbag they get an un-interferred kick at the goals from the point they stand at. The allowable contact in the game is that you can push against another player with your shoulder only but not ram them

So my guess is that Steve or Heather Blough of Footbag.com invented it and there are 4 or 5 players per team.

Well, although that game sounds very similar to the one I had in mind, the answer is not what I was looking for.

I'll give a couple of hints:

- I didn't read about it on the .org archives (contrary to popular believe I do not live there

)
- Even when googling WITH the correct answer, I did not receive any hits.
- It was invented in the 80's (east coast).

Lastly, upon review, I think I spelled it wrong in my original post. It might be one word "basketbag". This, plus the fact that I have posted some hints, should allow Brad to have another go, if he so chooses (since he didn't have the advantage of this extra info).

Either way, if no-one gets it right by this time tomorrow, I'll post some more hints. (I didn't expect it to take so long)

OK sorry Brad, but I have to answer this one.
The answer is, of course, the great east coast freestyler Peter Chandler,
from (at the time)Maine and Vermont. Peter Chandler,
graduated from Harvard Divinity School, and the singer
of Footbag Fever and other great hits, and also an
amazing freestyler with epic style. I played alot with him
in the early east coast days and we played some basketbag, which he invented. You could play it one on one or teams of 2.
Actually a fun game, you guys should try it.

So, now do i get to ask a question?

I don't know if this counts - Spinning osis - Ken Shults? (only guessing Ken because he's been around the longest and probably invented the most tricks - so odds are for oldish moves - he invented it)
