My first edited footbagging video

Heres my first fully edited footbag vid. It features my best of 4.5 months of playing. I hope you all like it. Comments appreciated

Cool video for your first effort.

For some reason the audio wasn't playing right during the footage, but played fine for the titles. I don't know why that is.

Also, try to be a little more both sided. Especially with your stepping sets, although it's coming along.

The point where the transition comes out of the titles to show your first blur (great reaction, by the way

) was a little too long and cut into the footage just a bit too much for my liking. It's sometimes good to set the scene (like with the titles) and then let it roll into the action (the blur), rather than a quick cut-to (too quick for my taste).

But all in all, not a bad little video. Keep at it.

Also, you're really coming along as a footbag player. School that flipside a little more IMO, and start working on run length.

He can;t have long runs because he uses a digital camera to film. He said it only takes like 30 secs of vid.

Yeah, I know that. I'm just saying that he should make sure that he doesn't go add hunting, when he's got the basis for some good run length and diversity there.

Very nice video. I agree with Gareth, though. I couldn't listen to the sound because it's really late here but I was very entertained by the video. I liked the progression in difficulty of moves and combos. I liked how the background kept changing. I would definately work on bothsidedness (especially clippers and pixie sets!!!) and longer tiltless runs. It is important to create a solid tiltless foundation in your game before advancing to 3 adds and especially 4s. Have fun, but keep this in mind

Oh and nice editing! I liked lots of the things you did. Like the "FIRST BLUR"!!! And the moving text: very nice.

Hey guys thanks for all the reply's. Ill take all your tips in mind and practice em

. Most of the stuff in the vid I just filmed like the first blur i had just hit yesterday and the flip blur and the crispy torque. Ill try to build up my tiltlless strings. Like when shoudl i go guiltless? When my titless strings have like 20+ tricks in them? Thanks for the tips.

Another tip ... For a good portion of the video you were wearing some pretty long/baggy shorts... get some better ones (like the ones you had later in the video)... your game will thank you.

I don't know how you ever can play with those when you played with shorter shorts too. I tried to play in some baggy shorts the other night and it was so frustrating.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you start with your older footage, then work your way up to your newest?

If so, I'm glad you learned the secret of wearing short shorts!

Yeah it goes older into newer and when i cut my other shorts to make them shorter i noticed a big difference in my stepping/blurry sets. I think im gonna go to olympia sports today and pick up a pair of soccer shorts. I think that the wrong kind of shorts is hurting my game and i could improve much better with short soccer shorts

Cool vid. Great combos. It would be wise to use somewhat shorter athletic shorts. Also to try to make the runs a little more fluid. Great stuff though.
