OK This has been going on for 3-4 months but because of my knees and not playing, I hardly noticed its seriousness until recently. Firstly it's not an INJURY (there is no pain) though it probably resulted from a sprain and/or broken toe I had on this foot. I would rather it be an injury though, because it would be easier to fix:
My ankle will not crank properly. I can stand there normally and turn my foot as much as is normal for a good clipper. I can keep it cranked and do stalls all I want. But as soon as it's coming from being planted (as in a mid run clipper move) it turns DOWN first (like XBD heel style) and THEN cranks. As far as I can tell it's totally involuntary.
It's the worst on osis. On some moves it hardly has any effect (torques and blender work fine. To remedy it I have been drilling clipper harder than when I first learned it in as many ways as I can imagine, but I cant tell if it's helping yet.
I dont't really expect advice but I thoguht it was odd and would share and MAYBE someone has a similar situation.

Im in the same boat. I am really heavy on my feet and since I started freestyling I have rolled each ankle about 3 times and it is starting to catch up to me. My ankles sound like cement grinders and after each roll it takes longer for the ankle to recover its flexability. All you can do is practice and if that does not help, go see a doctor.
