Battle Hack?

Anybody here battle hack?

That is form a circle call a ammount of kicks and get that amount (genrally 2) then kick it at a person to get them out. Violent but fun.....

the only problem is sum times I want to learn to freestyle and every body round here always wants to battle it sucks.......

NEway you guys got any cool kicks or NEthing for battles?

I've played this maybe once or twice I don't really like it though... I did have one awsome kick a couple months ago where I just pivoted on one leg and spun and kicked it with the other and it flew pretty straight and really hard...

Last time I played this was years ago when I was in P.E.I. (you know that little speck on the map thats one of our provinces) <Im allowed to say that since im from Nova Scotia. I found a group of like 5 guys that were playing. They were all like 20 and were amazed that I could actually kick better than all of them. In our game three differant people had to kick it then we all would try and grab it out of the air and huck it at someone. After you got hit three times everyone got to throw the bag at you once. Such a sweet group of guys. That was the first time I was introduced to tricks other than kicking.

actually that is not a battle i forget what that is called but there is no throwing in battle bag....

I played one of those games at school before I found freestyle, after that it seemed boring, but I was known for jumping up to steal the bag. One time I tried it and the other person managed to kick my heal while I jumping. I fliped then landed on my hands and knees. I really wish I had footage of that...

Yeah I stopped playing "games" like this with my friends and started focusing more on freestyle.

i used to play your battle game, we call it slap hack though. also used to play a similar version called kill.

You can learn freestyle on your own time.

Anyone else find it funny that Jeremy took the effort to censor a word and missed it when the next post quoted it?

edit- Almost forgot, you don't need a teacher. Since you've already found this site (and I'm assuming flipsider and .org) you have access to enough help to easily get you started. You can use .org to find people in your area, if your lucky.

Yea, it's kind of useless to censor a word if it's going to be quoted in the next post and show up uncensored.

When I started kicking a footbag I used to play this game, only I would use my hands to slap it down, instead of kicking it. Quite the silly game if you ask me. I'd rather freestyle anyday.

around here we call that war ... im not a big fan of it, but i sometimes jump into the circles

we also used to play slaps .... same thing as war except u slap the hack at someone instead of kicking it at them .... one day me and a couple buddies from my schools stage krew were playing on the stage at lunch ... one of my friends was playing and eating a sandwhich .... he got the bag and hacked it 5 times (we were playing 5 hack slap) when he got to 5 i tried slapping the bag at some one, but i completely missed the bag and slapped his sandwhich out of his hands .... good times

I think DodgeBag would be a really fun game. Use an area about 2 or 3 times the size of a 4 square court with 3 or so people to a team...mix in a little freestyle and WHAM aim low.

I used to play for shots. After x kicks, whoever was deemed "responsible" for the drop got a shot from everyone in the circle.

Also, if it went through your legs (5 hole), through the opening created in your legs when in an inside kick position (4 hole, (looks like a 4)), OR if it went through the hole created with your hand on your hips (9 hole), you got the respective amount of shots from each person.

And tehn there were the extra rules like, if it went through any of those holes backwards, you get double the shots.

I was always known for sniping.

Nowadays if I join a circle and that's what's going down, I'll get the bag, freestyle for two or three contacts, and snipe someone while they're standing in puzzlement/amazement. bwuahahaha I am evil!
