Summer Clean Up

In order to preserve storage space and weed out a bunch of old garbage I did a mass removal of all the topics on the forum that have no been replied to in the past 20 days.

Quite honestly I thought I was deleting only those posts that had ZERO replies... period. However, it turned out to be ALL posts than simply had no replies in the last 20 days. Otherwise I would have chosen a much higher number of days.

My apologies to anyone who really liked some of their old posts, but at the same time there were a HUGE number of double posts and insignificant post and pure trash posts that were deleted and now poeple will get to sit on here and rehash the same old stuff like we would have anyway

Ugh I'm just getting this right now..so like, every topic that is older than
20 days and has no poll was deleted? Ohmygod. We wasted all those
years typing stuff and it's all gone! (Puts Skeewiff's "it"s all gone" track

We heard from Jer today.
He's going to try and restore the old posts, so the system may act a little funky over the next couple of days while he works on it.

im actually not too happy all the old stuff is gone. i liked reading old topics and such from months, years ago...oh well tho i spose its for the better

imo it would have been nice if someone would have just mentioned this BEFORE. We could have at least saved the threads that are important to us.
I personally love those people who saved old kenny & co. comments from the old mailing lists, it's plain history -even if it's digital - of our little underground sport
