Drifter Battle

Post by Senor Grommet »

In an attempt to improve my drifters, I am posting a challenge to all shredders:

Let us see who can hit toe most consecutive drifters from clipper set, back and forth, and way you wanna hit em, uptime, downtime, mid time, happy time, etc.

When you get a good number for YOU, please post them here to let everyone know that you were proud of your own effort, even if its not gunna win this little battle.

(Chan, Mephisto, Im coming after your drifter records . . .)

Let the games begin!

I can't really play right now, but I think 10 was my highest. Trevorr, Jeremy and I were racing. I think Trevorr was ahead at 12, last I checked. What's your record, now Jeremy?

I'm pretty sure that Lon has new record on Drifters and Vasek has nev record on blurry drifters.
I don't know why I'm sure, but I am :D

70 ! that is insane

and I think that to be a real drifter it should need to be downtime, I think 5 original drifters is more impressive then 10 crispy drifters but thats just my opinion

You guys dont seem to understand.
I dont care about Lon, Vasek, Yves, or anyone else who can hit a lot of drifters.
For this drifter battle, I ONLY care about the people on this forum.

We are the combatants.

Man, drifters are tough for me. I don't understand why - they just are. I've been working on my drifters for a while now and finally I'm starting to hit drifters like 1/3. But still, I've only hit 2 in a row _once_. So this one obviously wasn't my battle to win!

I have like 23 or something. Can't remember exactly how many, but it's the NZ record and can be found on the records page at www.footbag.co.nz

EDIT: just looked and it's 26 :)

I'm totally in on this! My record is 4 so far.

This is such a good inspiration for me to school my Drifters. Excellent idea Jeremy!

Damn you guys are good! My record still stands at 12. I had another good run of conseq drifters with Kevin Ritchie yesterday though. I think tomorrow or the next day I will go for 15...more if possible of course, but I feel like 15 would be an attainable milestone for me. Conseq tricks are crazy feeling...it's like once you get on a roll, you're in some kind of zone and feel like you could go for a while (yes, 12 is a while in my book ;-) Cool sensation.

I enjoy going for conseq osises, dynos, whirls and spins...they are low energy for me :-) oh, and ducking op butterflies, oh, and, and...
