I havnt seen anyone mention camping anywhere, even on the event site...
Me and the Ohio guys are driving up from Columbus on Thursday and Camping still Sunday and I was wanting to find out if anyone else has similar plans... sharing campsites is more cost efficient and easier transit, and more fun... BEER and FIRE, a winning combo!
here are two campgrounds i found that are just outside Montreal. If anyone knows of better, cheaper, or closer ones holla.

hey jason, i live in montreal and went camping a couple weekends ago on a campground that was around 30 minutes away from downtown montreal, by car and was a decent price. it was a provincial parc, if you're still interested in camping and want to find out more about this place just PM me or email me... that camping alouette place does sound good though.

it looks like both places are about the same prices, around $25 canadian for two people, and a few bucks more per person after. i
.7539 US = $1 canadian. i believe
If anyone wants to join in our campsite PM me cause im making reservations at the KOA place, but im sure theyy let me add more people.
And the more the merrier, aye.

- If you want to camp out in the same area call this number
1-800-562-8636
And tell them you want to stay with the "Footbag group".
- There is a $25 deposite needed from a Visa or Master card which is refundable untill 48hrs before in case of cancelations.
- Rates, Directions, etc. are at this webite. www.koamontreal.com
I suggest that people who want to camp there post a message in this thread. It sounds like there can fit 2 average size tents per site, or one "circus tent", but i have a feeling theyre underestimating. So try and optimize the space and save yourself some money. Ill talk to the people there and see if they'll give us a special rate if we get more sites filled.
There is one site reserved that I am in, and another group has already filled it with us.
See you all there!

Yeah, that was a bad idea. It rained and we had the tent open a little, so all of our shit got rained on! we slept in the car friday night (at least i did, peter couldnt sleep in there) and friday we just shred till 3am, packed up and started on the 12 hour drive at 430am.
overall it was cheeper than a hotel or the UQAM i think, but not worth the trouble. The commute sucked too. we had to drive to Longuiul metro station and ride it into town, and we didnt find out till to late that the metro stops running at like 1230 or so.
Rob? sis you guys actually camp, i dont think i saw any other kickers there. where did you stay?
Did anyone else camp?
