saving dvd

is there any way to save a dvd to your hard drive... like put it in your cd-rom and save it so you can watch it whenever you want

yea, but its probably illegal. idk how. search google for "backing up dvds"

You need a DVD rom, first of all (to read the DVD).
DVD Decrypter will save the files to your harddrive and I use a program called AutoGK to convert the files to a divx video file (really flexible with filesize and stuff). It takes a long time to encode though @____@
