Footbag.com competition

Post by Jeremy »

For those that don't know, footbag.com is a freaky site run by a scary man who likes to kick a footbag but not do tricks. It has a running trick list that includes such the enourmasity of:
8. The Mystery Meat
Start with a left toe stall and switch to a right toe stall. Then to an inside right stall. Throw up the footbag to do a right foot Jester and catch it with a left toe stall. Flip the footbag up and stall it on the back of the neck. Let the footbag roll off the right shoulder and stall it with a left foot Jester. Flip it up to a right foot Rainbow and hit it with a right foot Jester.

13. Tsunami Death Combo
Start off performing a Rainbow then pop it up and stall it on the outside of your left foot. Kick it up into the air and Jester it to yourself catching it in a nose stall and let it drop to an inside foot stall. From there you begin to spin on your support foot, using the momentum to keep the footbag pinned against your foot. Spin as fast and smooth as you can to keep it there. Spin seven times. Then, if you are not too dizzy, pop it up and perform the Pendulum to serve it to the next person.
Wow. The TDC is pretty cool, but when I do it, it's usually "the" because I only spin 6 times (it's so hard to keep track when you're stoned off your head). Anyway you can submit your own tricks, so here's the idea of the competition.

We try to get as many tricks submitted to the list as possible. Submit them with your modified user name and report back here when they're up. If you post (snail mail) them a hard copy of the move you can even win your very own kicky sack!

Good luck!

Haha this is as great idea, very creative Jeremy! I'll be making a few up sometime soon.

Should we do technical tricks that we would do? Or the kind that is already on that site?

I think we should aim for the obscure.

I like this challenge.

Well I've so far made one submission! It's an ok move, but I'm sure better creations are possible! I'll keep you posted as to how it goes.

Notice that those "tricks" are all combos. I think it would be more fun to make up combos like the ones that are up there. One or two easy stalls mixed with silly kicks and shoulder pinches.

I just submitted one, "the jump rope". I think it may be impossible to do, though.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

I don't understand why we're fighting foolery with foolery... I don't like them, but can't we leave them alone?

Oh, it's all just for fun!

This is a goofy way to be dicks and not really hurt them in any way.

I'm with bigdirtyfoot, leave them alone. I don't want people from other groups posting bullshit on this site. Am I being a stick in the mud?
