idea 1: Slogan: "You can get your truce on in Tucson"
(with a happy pic of "Israel" and "Palestine")

idea 2: Slogan: "You can get your truce on in Tucson"
(with a characature of Sharon and Arafat
smiling, shaking hands)

Is it dumb? Is it witty? Is it funny?

Are you suggesting a Peace Talk in Tucson?

I've seen a great shirt idea that says:
"Kick Bush Out. Footbag Players For Peace."
Another that said, "Kick Bush Out. Footbag Players Who Kerry."
And, "Kick Bush Out. Footbag Players For Kerry."
All with "Shred the Vote" in the corner.

I liked the "Footbag Players For Peace," best.
Any preference for these ideas?

I vote dumb...not that it's a horrible idea to have a shirt, but I'm not a fan of the slogan.
Perhaps...."Nuke'em All And See How Different They Are When Their Body Parts Are Laying Splattered In A Thousand Pieces At The Bottom Of A Giant Fucking Crater......Tucson: Supporting The Right To Live In Peace or Die in Pieces."

Sunny's 1st one is a good idea.
Though how about something like:
"Kick Bush in the Sack...Footbag Players For Peace"

Michael Frante and Spearhead get alot of radio play on Triple J, here in Australia.

He seems very aware - and connected to good things.

Michael recently went surfing (his first time) with first ever popularly elected Green party Mayor of a Shire in Australia, Jan Barham, and a long time environmental activist Ian Cohen, who came into international prominence in the eighties when he paddled his surfboard in front of an oncoming U.S. warship and held onto the bow, riding the ship in protest of it entering the Sydney Harbor. Ian is currently a state senator sitting on the legislative council of the New South Wales Parliament and also a Green Party member. one thing i hate about when people say we're all equal is when they add no matter which god we believe in...that leaves out many of us who don't believe in any god...just a little pet peeve of mine =P

I was referring more to the disagreement between the Israelis and the Palestinians... (although there is more to their disagreement than that)

I thought I was an atheist for 29 years, then I realized that the "God" everyone was telling me about, was something I perceived, but not in the way they described "him," so I wasn't able to recognize it, therefore, denied the existence. Although I am still trying to define my beliefs (and will be until the day I pass from this body), the way I currently see it, I am a channel for energy. If I choose to channel positive energy, I am in touch with "God." I am not a Christian, although I do believe Jesus Christ was an enlightened human being, as was Mohammad and the Buddha.

I like Idea one more overall. It's somewhat witty, but if you could put a hapy picture of Arizona (Tucson hilighted obviously) between them or beside them, that would work better I think.
