Your Avatar pic and you...

Post by innersmile »

Hey all,
I have been reading most of the forums lately and I really dig some of the pics you all have. I just want to know why you chose that pic, if it means anything etc...

My pic is of the Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard. Taken sometime last season, just after he scored a great goal, I forget against who but he went nuts! I've supported Liverpool from the age of about 6 so it's nearly 20 years...eek.

Oh, props to modified. It's by far my favourite footbag forum site.

Mine is the front cover of my favourite book - American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. It's quite horrifying and infact the reason I bought it was because I saw that it had an R rating and wanted to know how violent a book needs to be to get an R rating! However having read it, while the violence is abhorant, I think it's the best book I've read.

Man! I've been looking for that book everywhere, Jeremy.
I've been told that it's actually banned in Australia, and my friend in Customs told me that they'll remove any copy caught comming into the country.

Anyway, back to the topic...

Mine is a picture of my eye, using night vision on my camera when I first got it.

Dude! I bought my copy at a shitty airport newsagent in Melbourne. I've seen it in lots of bookshops too - usually in the literature or general fiction sections.

Currently mine is Superman. Before that it was Neo and before that it was the Green Lantern insignia. Follow the pattern?

wow that's surprising. Pink Floyd has very leftist lyrics and you seem like a political person with fairly right wing attitudes...

A screaming woman's face I drew, partially inked red, and unfinished. No meaning to it, just thought it would make an interesting avatar.

I picked a picture of me.

This is my first avatar, I hope you guys like it.

I feel that it is very kafkaesque in the way the brown hues contradict the antidisestablishmentarianism of the whole 'system' that we live in.

I'm just busting big words out my ass, I don't even know what i just said, artsy fartsy morons are morons.

I picked a picture of me to represent me because I am me, deep.

I was very young and a nerd, and I had no idea what to put for my avatar, so I chose a picture of an ebola strain and took the negative. I've had it forever and it's just easier not to change.
