I smoke on occasion and enjoy it. I like to engage in creative activities while high: writing, discussions, dancing, bike rides, snowboarding and sometimes footbag. If my mind is distracted and I can't focus on shredding, I sometimes have been known to "talk to coach." I also like to smoke before watching movies.

When I was in college I would smoke about a quarter per semester. I never really went looking for it; it would just find me. My parent's always smoked, my mom even smoked the whole time she was pregnant with me. I graduated from college with honors; 4.0 GPA so I don't think it really damaged my mental capacity. I never went to class high, and I would never study while high... just a recreational user.

Smoking in the footbag community is very common. Many of the top players shred while high, and yes, you'll see it at many footbag parties. If you don't smoke, it’s not a big deal, but I hope you don't take offense while you are hanging with the freestylers. At the World Championships last year I found it’s very common among players worldwide.

My shred is pretty much the same when I am high. Its just like I am high, and playing footbag. I have the same endurance and everything. Sometimes I get a little more intensely into it when baked.

Weed is fine and I think it's a shame that it had to be given the bad rap way back when. And it's sad that stupid people keep perpetuating the stupid ideologies they were taught.

yepp, i think there's a lack of comparison between different drugs and their risks. I'd never want someone to promote weed, but someone to promote against alcohol

especially here in germany we have a lot problems with alcohol, that are commonly known to the public...but then, there's just the opinion, that they "exaggerate it a bit". Wuite stupid, people understand these people have problems but don't bother talking with their children

Yeh it's sorta of wierd being one of the few people here who doesn't smoke... makes me glad I don't though (I like being different). I am deffenatly against alcohal because it kills so many people, I am also against smoking because for me I don't want to be dependant on anything artificial, or have anything that might dull the pain of real life, I want to know that I can take everything the world throws at me with just the people who love me by my side... don't know if that makes sense... oh well I probably wouldn't mind being around people smoking as long as they didn't try to pressure me into it or anything.[/quote]

I used to smoke,but not anymore. Its true that when you are high,then its easier to play footbag,bag flys slower or smthng.

Yeah, there were a lot of people getting high at Worlds. How I see it, everything in moderation, including moderation. If it becomes a dependency, that's where I'd draw the line.

Now and then I don't see any problem.

I don't do it, myself.

Hey just wondering if any of you guys are straight-edge. I personaly am not staight-edge but I do follow the rules of it, if that makes any sense. Sense a lot of people here seem to like punk I figured someone here must be straight-edge...
