Double Dragon?
Double Dragon?
Ok, i think i remember that double dragon is a trick, but for (insert word here) sakes, i'm not talking about the trick, i'm talking about a delay.
We should all know what a dragon is, correct?
And we know what a flapper delay is (xbody sole?)
Imagine taking a flapper delay, then turning your foot an extra 90 degrees inward. Voila, there, the outside part of your foot is showing again, but it is way different than any dragon i have ever seen.
No, i have not hit this, but i was thinking that perhaps someone with superbendy ankles may have done something like this?
I know one thing is for sure, when i tried it tonight with no shoes on and i set the bag on my foot in that position and tried to keep it there, i almost fell on my face. I don't even want to try it during a run...
Any thoughts?

well a dragon is a xbod outside dealy.. So a flapper stalled on the outside is *technicaly* a dragon delay...
Then there's this trick called "anchor" I'm not quite surewhat it is but I think it's some kind of dragon variation...
I'm sure Mr. Schneider will catch drift of this thread soon enough and explain everything!

I'm now going to attempt a trick that is completely new for me and post a link to a video of anchor (drum-roll please):
http://www.philly-footworks.com/Chilly_JonPushups.avi
Here is an example of anchor. Not the best example, perhaps, as I had to catch myself with my hands on the ground from the very start, but I think this is what shredster might be talking about. It is as you say, shredster, like a cross-body sole and then a bit further. But the flex is not really in the ankle, rather it is in the hips. The foot doesn't have to twist any further than it already does for the flapper. Anyway, thanks to Bob Riefer for putting this video on his web-site, and to Sunil Jani, for suggesting the push-ups, which I at first took to be a really dumb idea, but quicky learned it was actually a brilliant idea in disguise. The man is a footbag genious.
And speaking of the "Double Dragon", appearing only as it does on Brad Kaplan's favorite move list, (which I won't link in fear of angering our new moderator), have you or anyone you know EVER actually witnessed that move being hit? I say its 100% bullshit, but my mind is open. Somebody prove me wrong. (My mind is not open to this, really, and I'll never believe it until I see it).

Anchor? Weird. But yeah, its incredibly weird!
Jon has a little clip in the euro2 video from monsterhack, and i believe its an anchor that he hit. Thats exactly what i was thinking of.
Thats such a cool trick! Ever hit it without touching your hands to the ground though? That would be a cool place to set it from too, though i can't imagine how hard (frozen sets been hit...hmm)
