Video Converter

Anyone know of a good video converter. I need to get wmv stuff to mov file.

TMPGEnc is an awesome converter although I don't think it can convert to .mov files. It can convert all those other formats to .mpg though! So, you can convert your .wmv files to .mpg. Hope this helps ya!

i use windows media encoder. i think you can download it. it works good for me.

ya i wanted to use premiere but my cams vids are .asf files so i had to download that and change them to .mpg!

I got windows media encorder,where do you go to find the option for changing to different file types.

Hey Shaun, for the TMPGEnc, you first click Browse next to Video Source; then you choose whichever file you want to convert. After you choose the video file, it is automatically the Audio Source also. Then, you just choose what the Output File Name is (it's where you want the file to go on your hard drive). After that, you just hit Start and sit back as the file is converted! I hope this helps ya more!

BTW, I never used Windows Media Encoder; is it any good? Thanks!

When I comverted it,it fucked up my audio majorly. Like the timing was off on what was happening.
