Socks or no Socks...hmmm?

Post by JFootbagger »

Have you ever kicked with out socks before? Which do you prefer, socks or no socks. Usually when I kick, I prefer not to wear socks. If you ask me, it allows you to feel the bag a little better. But I also can kick in socks and still do all my tricks. Down fall of socks is your feat get a schveaty and makes your shoes smelly 8O . Solution to this, I spray my shoe with a foot powder spray (forget the brand name) but it kills the mold the causes the stench. So what do you guys think? Socks or No socks?

greg nelson plays without inserts, removed canvas and no socks. he could probably feel a fly land on his shoe.
There is always a bigger trick.

playing without socks will make your lavers smell.

I like to play with different socks - light ankle socks are good - but long socks are cool too.

I use light cotton ankle socks, and they're still too thick for me. Do socks actually come even thinner than this?

Edit: I meant to say they're too thick for me, so I *don't* use them. Barefoot, all the way.

This is an interesting "concept" - right up there with the great paradox debate

I wear light ankle socks, and occasionally no socks when my session is going to be short. Any long sessions without socks and I find my feet just get too sweaty and gross.

when i was in the 7th grade i had these Nike shoes. They had no air holes, and i never put socks on with them. THEY WERE THE WORSE SMELLING SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED.
so i always were socks now. even if ur short on socks, which is rare for me, put on dirty ones.

Socks, light, sporty socks or even secret socks if I want to show a little ankle ;)

I just feel too uncomfortable in shoes without socks, eew.

I always wear socks when i kick, I probably wont end up wearing none ever. I just wear sport socks that i use for athletics. I used a pair of thick bed socks once, but my feet got to sweaty.

I use tiny super thin socks.
I did shred once without socks, but that's because I had forgotten them..
I did feel pretty good, but it wasn't THAT much of a difference.

and i thought it was americans that really were all about freedom.

and yes they do, especially with back to back atomsmashers, but they still hurt when i play with boxers. i blame my gargantuan thighs. the friction just from walking a few years ago used to give me heat rash.

Lmao!

I have no problem with playing with socks. But then again, i've got unmodified laver le's, so the leather absorbs everything, so i don't really have much feel.

No underwear...hahaha

Be a friend to all your fellow shredders and wear socks! The smell is just too nasty, and you don't get that much more feel of the bag. Nasty.

Since the question "to sock or not to sock" is hardly a "Concept", I moved this topic on over to General Footbag.
