Belated Bombiness (Epic CSS 5 footage)

Post by TwistedTorque »

Sorry this took so long to get out. A lot of time went into making this my best video yet. I'm very proud of this piece. I hope you guys all like it. Some awesome songs (RJD2, Sage Francis, Apocalypica) accompany fierce shred by Jim Penske, Peter Irish, John Schneider, juggling by Paul Mestas and many more badass parts.

Look for:
Blurry Drifter>Stepping Op Swirl>Blurry Drifter (Penske)
Atomic & Stepping Mobius (Peter Irish)
Spinning Swirl (John Schneider)

If you have any problems with the video first download this and then post with problem if it doesn't work.

Enjoy!! :D

PS I'm contemplating selling this video & the Seattle trilogy on DVD (@ DVD quality) through the mail and at Worlds. Is there any interest? All videos on one disc for about $10?

EDIT:
I have taken this video off of Freedom's server. I'll have it uploaded again sometime soon. I needed to make room for Worlds 04 Semi Routines. Look in the video section...

Wow Evan! This is like one of my favorite videos. The music and editing were both excellent. Is this what you are going to have on DVD at Worlds? If so, I want a copy ;-]

(P.S. I get the freeze to, but MPlayer just skips past it after a bit.)

That last song was fricken lovely with the shred. LOVELY ! Intense music, with intense shred. How long would the vid be, and when you say cd ? Do you mean DVD with menu layouts , or do you mean, a VCD< or just some files burnt onto cd ? If it were a DVD, of course I'd buy it at worlds.

HAIL TO THE KING.

You, sir, are the greatest. This is by far the best video I've seen so far. The only slighty criticism I would have would be to space the players out more, but even so, that doesn't matter. The casting at the end was really, really cool.

Props!!!

Wow. 8O . That was amazing. Definately one of the best edited footbag videos i've ever seen. My favorite part was the string by Peter at about 14:00 min that synched up perfectly with the music. Brilliant. :)

today must be video day. like, 7 new videos + champions league in the
mail! I'm downloading, but I know I'm gonna love it!

edit:
It's a very nice video. Good music, good shred and good editing. The end
part got a bit confusing with 3 players at once, but it looked damn cool.
Thanks!

Bravo, that was probably the best online video I have ever seen. I would just like to add that the Paul Mestas and Peter Irish Freestyle Juggling was so dam good, I know that I have wanted to see some footage of those two guys in the same circle for a while.

When the intermeditae shred is going on at like 40 seconds I think. Look on the stage in the background a guy is like doing double and tripple spinning clippers and linking them.

Damn! Who gave it a 6!! No way, it's definately a 10! :)

By the way, Shaun that was Ricky Moran in the background showing off his double spinning madness.

Wow...
Thanks guys. I'm glad you liked it. Did anybody catch Jim's Blurry Drifter>Stepping Swirl>Blurry Drifter? It's in the first scene with more than one thing going on (Peter, Paul, & Jim) during the 2nd song. That move is too badass to get buried in it all. Well I'll definatly burn some DVDs (High Quality rocks, it looks so much better on DVD than DivX) and bring them along. Just look around for me (rasta or tie died headband) and I'll let you know if I still have one. I'll see if I can get them at the Freedom Footbags table too or something...
Thanks again,
Peace

PS Did the freeze thing go away? Have you tried rebooting your PC? Make sure nothing else is open when you watch it? This is a link for a good player (Mplayer):

Hope it works, please PM me or something if it doesn't work.

my only critique is that some of the footage is very dark and grainy - presumably from when they couldn't figure out the lights on Sat. night.

Woohoo! Evan, that was AWESOME. It felt like you really captured the atmosphere of the event. Huge props on the editing! I loved the transitions between the runs when the simultaneous shred was going on.

Thank you!! A 10 for sure.
