C'est ne pas tres bon

Even though I live in Ottawa and its really french here I still stink at speaking the language.

So anyone with a little more experience in French want to teach me some phrases to pick up the french women? I've already become a master linguist in the universal language of club dancing but I fear this is as far as my multilingualism goes.

Say, "Mon petite chou" which means my little cabbage.

I'm not sure if I spelled chou right though.

I don't know about you, but I bet I chick that you can pick up by saying "my little cabbage" too is probably a pretty sketchy chick.

well the expression "mon petite chou" does exactly translate to "my little cabbage"... but that doesn't really mean you're calling the girl a cabbage.... its more like saying "hey darling" or something along those lines...we were teaching some french to the finns...we taught them "chez moi ou chez toi?" which means "your place or mine?" ...("chez" is pronounced "shé").
i can't really think of some quality pick up lines to translate... but if there's anything you'd like to know i'd be glad to translate for you!

yeah "petit chou" is very affectionate. That's what you'd call your long-time gf or 2yr old kid or something.
I could post a couple of things that could help you out, but unfortunatly, french-canadian is very different to french (from France) in it's expressions (not as much the vocab or sentence structure). So I'm a bit lost too..

Hahahahaha... a year ago when I was dating this really cool girl, I was into French and my teacher was teaching us how "Petit Chou" was a sign of affection, so I started calling her "My little cabbage" and then it turned into this sexual thing... great memories, haha.
